Author POV:
At Evening
Vardaan came back from his office and saw Aarohi talking with his mom.
But he was angry with her because Aarohi poured water on his laptop, he was doing very important work.
But it was not difficult for him to backup that data, after all he is a tech god but
he was hurt not only by her carelessness but also disappointed by her childish act.( Han Bhai tune to kuch Kara nahi. Mere bipolar ladke )
Then Aarohi saw Vardaan he was going towards their room and she tried to stop him but he ignored her.
She wasn't able to understand why he is behaving like this.Aarohi had always known Vardaan to be a complicated person, but lately, his bipolar nature had started to frustrate her. One moment he would be warm and affectionate, and the next, he would completely ignore her.
Then Aarohi decides she will talk to him and she will try to resolve their communication issues.
Then she followed him and entered their room and summoned her courage, Aarohi approached Vardaan, her eyes welling up with concern. "Vardaan, may I have a moment to speak with you?" she hesitantly requested.
"Can't you see I'm busy? What could possibly be so important?" he retorted, his voice laced with bitterness.
"I understand, Vardaan. But it's crucial for us to address the emotional challenges we have been facing lately. I want to understand, to be there for you. We're in this together, don't you remember?"
Vardaan, absorbed in his work, looked up briefly, his eyes filled with irritation. "Not now, Aarohi. I'm busy," he muttered his attention back to the screen.
He doesn't want to have any type of conversation with Aarohi. Aarohi already had delayed his work by damaging his laptop.
Then she came towards him and sat beside him. She wanted the whole matter to be resolved peacefully. Then she said,
"Postponing everything like this won't help, Vardaan" her tone was hard.
But he ignored her again, Aarohi's patience had now broken.Aarohi took a deep breath and held Vardaan's collar, her eyes reflecting her frustration. She demanded that he tell her why he acted this way. She needed to understand the reasons behind his ever-changing moods that were tearing them apart.
Vardaan, now realizing the seriousness in Aarohi's tone, sighed and closed his laptop.
He turned to look at her, his eyes filled with frustration, "Aarohi, you don't understand what it's like, living with this constant battle inside my mind," he whispered.
Vardaan stormed out of the room leaving Aarohi alone in the room.
As minutes turned into hours, Vardaan's earlier anger was replaced by a deep sadness. He realized that his actions were unwarranted, and he regretted abandoning Aarohi. He had let his frustrations get the better of him and had hurt someone he cherished secretly.
With a heavy heart, Vardaan retraced his steps back to the room. He found Aarohi sitting quietly, her eyes red from tears of abandonment. Vardaan's heart ached at the sight before him, and he realized the depth of his mistake. He rushed to her side.
With great tenderness, he began to rub her back, trying to bring her some comfort. Cupping her cheeks, Vardaan looked deep into Aarohi's eyes, his own filled with remorse and regret. He gently wiped away her tears, assuring her that he never meant to hurt her.
