Theo's POV:

I followed behind everyone as we left my office. As we started to head down the stairs my Dad gasped and froze. Staring wide eyed between me and Paisley. Paisley froze next, grabbing my arm to make me stop.

"What did you say?" She hissed at me.

"I didn't say anything.... Technically." I whispered back.

Everyone was now looking at us. I winced as Paisley's nails dug into my arm.

"Ow. Let go." I hissed.

"No." She hissed back. Grabbing me harder.

"This is not my fault. This is why people shouldn't eavesdrop on other people's arguments. Now let me go."

"You mentioned something to him, hence him figuring it out and staring at me. You just had to throw a fucking hissy fit today didn't you?" She snapped.

"You guys are aware we can hear everything you're saying?" Our Father said.

We both looked over to them and I finally ripped my arm away from her. I hissed and looked down seeing scratches from her nails.

"You are so fucking lucky." I growled at her.

"Paisley... Are you.... Pregnant?" My Dad asked.

Jake, who had been walking up the stairs, paused. Paisley turned to me.

"Thanks a lot, Asshole." She growled, shoving me so hard I actually stumbled.

"Oh, ho... Seriously? This is not my fault." I said.

"Paisley, Baby? Are you?" Jake asked.

"Ugh... Yes. I am. I was trying to figure out how to tell you."

"Why? This is good news." Jake smiled.

"No. No, it's not. That's the problem."

"What? What do you mean?"

"I... I don't know if I want kids. I don't even like babies."

"Why didn't you just tell me that? We could have talked about that... And now, what? You're pregnant... Are you planning on terminating?"

Paisley looked at me with tears in her eyes. I sighed and held my hand out to her. She grabbed it and squeezed.

"I got up this morning and had a long conversation with Theo. I thought terminating was going to be what I did... But... I don't think I can do that. As scared as I am, I don't think I could live with myself for that decision. You can thank Theo for that. He told me I needed to think of my options and figure out which one I could live with. I honestly believe the only option I can live with is keeping the baby."

I squeezed her hand and gave her a small smile. I checked my pretend watch. "So I took my meds about an hour ago and uh... I'm gonna puke if I don't get something to eat, so ..." I clicked my tongue. "I'm gonna go get some food. I think this is a conversation for you two anyways."

She let out a wet chuckle. "Call it sympathy puking."

"No... I absolutely despise puking."

"Go." She rolled her eyes. "I can't wait until you get pregnant and deal with morning sickness."

"Don't you wish that on me! When I eventually get pregnant, I am going to have no morning sickness. Thank you very much."

"I seriously doubt it."

"Shut up!" I whined. "Dad!"

He was laughing. "Sorry, Buddy. If it's anything like how mine was... You're going to be puking at least twice a day."
