We want to hear it...

Theo's POV:

I was all snuggled up into a blanket, my feet on Mason's lap, and we were watching a movie. He had turned the AC up to 76 instead of the 65 I usually had it on, for me before we had gotten settled. He was looking slightly clammy and was sitting shirtless but he didn't complain. My fever had broken some but I was still around 103 degrees when I should be at 97. I glanced at him when his phone went off. He picked it up and looked at the notification.

"Mind if we pause this?"

"No. What's up?"

"I need to go grab something to eat. My sugars are too low."

"I'll go get it."

"You're sick. I'm not gonna send you to get me food." He patted my calf.

"Well, Maybe I'm hungry too."

"You can come down with me. I just wasn't going to let you go get me something when I can go get it. Do you want some Chicken soup?"

"The one with the little noodles?"

"We can ask if there's any. I bet there is but if not I can run out to the store and get some."

"Says the one with low blood sugar." I mumbled.

"I could ask my Mom?"

I chuckled as I sat up and untangled myself from the blanket. "If we don't have any it's fine. You have low blood sugar and I will not allow you to get behind the wheel, and your Mom doesn't have to do anything for me."

"She doesn't have to but she may want to. That's why you ask."

"I may be sick but I'll still kick your ass." I raised an eyebrow.

"Those are fighting words. I would gladly let you kick my ass because you're pregnant. Not a fair fight."

I laughed as we left our room. I was still in sweats but after taking the tylenol I felt better. I still had a cough and sore throat but it didn't hurt as bad. It had been roughly four hours since we found out I was seriously sick and I had napped for two of those hours. My Dads were probably due back soon depending on when they were actually planning on getting on the plane and if Devyn and Penny had stayed so they could fly to our airfield or not.

"Go ahead and grab some food, I can go ask if we have any soup."

"Okay, Mind grabbing me a juice, too?"

"Yeah. Any specific kind?"

"Orange is probably best. Quickest way to raise my blood sugar."

"Okay."

He bent his head down and leaned in for a kiss. I turned my face and let him kiss my cheek.

"Really? I don't care that you're sick." He looked partially annoyed.

"I do. Mainly because I can hardly breathe without feeling like coughing and it'd be disgusting and unattractive if I were to cough into your mouth." I deadpanned.

"Yeah. Alright." He nodded.

"Be right back."

I turned to head into the kitchen and caught sight of my Dads as they walked into the room. I ignored them and continued on my way.

"Hey, Gloria."

"Hello, Alpha! What can I get you, Sugar?"

"I was hoping for that chicken soup that's mostly broth and all those little noodles."

"I believe I do have some. Let me check!"

I smiled at the older woman as she went to check the pantry. I went into the fridge and grabbed a bottle of juice for Mason.
