Theo's POV:

When I woke up this morning Mason was gone. Again. It's either him leaving while I am asleep or I have to leave while he's asleep. I don't think we ever really wake up together and that kind of sucks. I want to be like other couples who can wake up together and lay in bed and just relax together or have sleepy wake up sex, or soft kisses and cuddles. I had thrown on a pair of shorts and a tight t-shirt before slipping on socks and sneakers, planning to do my morning workout. I honestly felt so much better. My sore throat and fever were gone by the second day of antibiotics and now I had a very mild cough that didn't really bother me too much.

I made my way into the kitchen where My Dads, Becky, Both sets of our grandparents, Derek, Violet, and Carter and Matt all were.

"Hey, Buddy. Happy Birthday." My Dad smiled at me.

I rubbed my eyes before I went and grabbed a drink. I walked over to my Dad and leaned against him.

"Thanks. Happy Birthday." I murmured.

"You okay?"

I sighed. "Yeah. I'm just tired. I'm barely pregnant and it's already kicking my ass."

"Wait... You're pregnant?" My Nana asked.

"Uh... Yeah. About a month. I thought you all knew."

"Uh, no. We didn't know. Did you guys?"

Matt and Carter were the only ones who nodded. Everyone else shook their heads.

"Oh. Oops. Surprise..." I held my hands up and gave a sarcastic grin.

She shook her head. "Come here. I haven't been able to see you in a while, where's my hug?"

I walked over and gave her a hug, lifting her off her feet slightly before everyone yelled at me to put her down.

"What? She's like 130 pounds. I bench more than that." I looked around, feeling startled.

"When you aren't pregnant!" My Dad said.

"Uhm.. I just benched 230 last week. Margo said that I can do everything I did before I got pregnant except for shifting and fighting." I shrugged.

"I strongly disagree with that. Remember the conversation you and I had about being prepared for any possible complications?"

"Most of your complications aren't hereditary." I said.

"Some of them are! You really should be taking it easy."

I was instantly annoyed. Mason had just lectured me last night about this because he caught me doing weighted hip thrusts last night. "You know what... Just because you were anorexic when you got pregnant and had major complications and had us two months early doesn't mean that I will have the same issue. Everything I do, I cleared with Margo. But you and Mason can go ahead and make me a fucking list and maybe I'll take it into consideration. Great to see everyone. Happy fucking Birthday to me." I snapped.

No one said anything and they let me storm off. I left the kitchen and went to the gym in the basement. I usually used the one in my office but I had everything I needed down here too. I entered the gym and went over to the locker I used as mine and grabbed my Ipod and headphones and my arm band out of it. I hooked my armband onto my arm before I slid my headphones in and turned the Ipod on. I hit the shuffle button and started stretching as music started playing.

Once I was stretched I started my work out. I started with alternating hand push ups. It's a push up where your hands are staggered, one by your shoulder, one by your chest, you do a push up like normal, push yourself into the air and switch your hands every time so they switch placement on the floor. I did 35 of those before I grabbed a 10 pound medicine ball and did 45 lunges. Next using the same medicine ball I did a wall sit, holding the ball above my head for 60 seconds. I had no one here to spot me so I kept the weight at 135 and benched it 10 times, letting myself rest for 2 full minutes in between 3 sets.I used the same weights and bar to do 5 hip thrusts on 3 different sets. Only taking a minute between sets. I had just gotten started on sit ups when I felt Mason walk in. I ignored him and continued, I did 30 sit ups and only stopped because I was actually starting to feel nauseous. I took a break and watched Mason as he stood leaning against the wall and watched me.
