What's going on?

Theo's POV:

I jolted awake to someone banging on our door. Mason stirred next to me. The clock on the nightstand said it was only 4 AM. I rubbed my palms into my eyes before I got out of bed and went to the door. I yawned as I opened it. Paisley stood in the hallway in pajamas and was crying.

"Hey, What's going on?" I whispered.

"I need to talk to you."

"Uh, Yeah. Come on in."

I moved so she could enter the room. Mason sat up in bed when she came in as her crying woke him up more.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you guys up."

"No, it's fine. What's wrong?"

She sobbed and fell into my arms. I wrapped her in a hug and looked at Mason, feeling a little helpless.

"I'm gonna go make some tea for her." He said as he got up.

He headed for the door and I growled. He was only wearing his boxer briefs.

"Can you put some fucking clothes on, please?"

He gave me a weird look before he went and grabbed some shorts, pulling them up his legs. "This okay?"

"Yeah." I said, watching him.

"Okay. I'll be right back."

I nodded and continued to hug Paisley. Once the door shut and he was gone, I spoke.

"You need to tell me what's going on? Why are you here crying at 4 in the morning?"

"Because I don't know what else to do."

"About what?"

"Jake doesn't know. I couldn't sleep and I had a hunch so I got up. I... I... I'm pregnant." She started crying again.

I sighed. "Okay. Okay. It's gonna be okay."

"I'm not rea-dy for a ba-by." She sobbed. "I d-d-don't even k-know if I wa-want to be a M-Mom."

"I know. I know. Breathe, breathe." I rubbed her back before I led her over to the couch. I sat down and pulled her into the space on my side. "How far along are you?"

"Since my last heat... so probably almost 3 months." She mumbled.

"Okay... What are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking Jake is going to be happy and I'm not. I'm scared. I'm only 23. I don't want kids yet, but if I abort everyone is going to hate me."

"No one is going to hate you. This is your body and your life. I may not agree with abortion myself but I will support your decision. However, this decision can't be made with me. It's something that you need to discuss with Jake." I whispered, squeezing her to me.

"I know. But I already know Jake wants kids. We tried to prevent pregnancy but I overheard him and his Mom talking about how he can't wait to be a Dad and to see me be a Mom. I don't think I do that. I... I didn't even like Aunt Carla and Aunt Meghans daughter until she was like 5."

"I know. Having your own baby... could change those feelings. But if you aren't ready, you aren't ready. Jake will have to understand. If he doesn't... I'm here for you. We can keep this between us, and him. At the end of the day, you have to make a decision for yourself, one you can live with. Jake may disagree or be upset but you need to talk to him and make the decision together if you can."

"I don't want him to reject me or to hate me." She whispered.

"He won't hate you. If he rejects you... Then he's never been the one that deserves you."
