Theo's POV:

"8 centimeters. You're moving along quickly."

"You said there'd be drugs." I said.

"If you had come when this first started we could have done pain meds but you're too far along for an epidural."

I let my head hit the pillow behind me. "Fuck."

"Sorry, Buddy. I'm gonna check on you in 20 minutes if you feel like you have to push before then just call for me." Margo patted my leg before she left the room.

The nurses followed her out after double checking my IV, my monitors and the baby monitor. Mason ran his hand through my hair.

"You're doing so good."

"I'm so fucking hot." I breathed. My eyes landed on him as he tried not to smile. "One fucking joke... I swear to God."

"I won't. I won't. I'm sorry."

"You should get a chair. Ooohhhh..... Fuck. Ahh.... Owwwwwwwww....."

I squeezed Mason's hand and he pressed his forehead against my temple.

"You got this, Baby." He put my hand against his chest and exaggerated his breathing.

I closed my eyes and relaxed against the pillows as the contraction stopped.

"Not trying to piss you off but even going through labor, you look so beautiful."

I smiled before I laughed. "I'm pretty sure I'm a sweaty mess."

"Even better." He smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, I'm sure."

"I'm actually surprised you're not being mean to me."

I laughed. "Fuck off. I can handle pain."

"Oh, I know. But you only threatened to kill me twice and that's before we even got in here. I expected a lot more."

"Wait until I'm pushing. And I have the sweet satisfaction that you are going to go through this in like a month."

"It's all gonna be worth it. Two beautiful children."

Tears stung my eyes and I nodded. "Yeah. Our own little family."

He pressed kisses against my face before I turned and captured his lips with my own. I pulled away with a growl as another contraction hit.

"This kid better hurry the fuck uppppppp." I groaned.
