Erawan slapped the Lycan harshly across the face, his patience wavering since it been months now and the Valg prince still hadn't got that piece of information that Erawan desired so much yet could control his body enough to massacre Neon's own people with his own hands."Is this your idea of a joke?" Erawan growled at the now bleeding Lycan."It has been yet another month and you still can't tell me about Lycaon?"

"My lord, I cannot begin to describe my efforts on the matter but his willpower is just so strong, getting him to obey me is already a struggle". It was honestly the best excuse, the monster could utter through Neon's tongue."You call yourself a Valg prince?" Erawan snarled at his demon. It has been three months yet you still couldn't break a TEENAGER!"
"I understand your frustration my king but assure you, Neon Riding will yield to me eventually and when he does, you will be the first to know of the lost Lycan Prince".
"I know I will". Erawan murmured suddenly calm, unnervingly calm, "because you know what will happen if I don't get what I want". His cold threat intimidated even the powerful Valg prince and after a few more pathetic promises and excuses, the prince shapeshifted and flew off in Neon's body to hunt down some more Lycans

After the Valg king watched the possessed Lycan fly into the night, he stalked down into a deep and forgotten chamber in Morath and unlocked the steel door which was sealed shut with a magic that even the gods would have trouble circumventing. He could make out some groans not of pain but of struggle and resistance as he beheld his latest atrocity and chuckled "your resilience certainly is commendable, yes you will certainly be my key in taking over not just this world but all of the worlds across all existences.

That queen of wildfire will stand no chance against us".

Aelin had spent this past month channelling deep into her power.Something just to do it and the queen knew she could always rely on her intuition so she fought against the Valg in Anielle and showed the world that she was not just a fire breathing queen but a deadly assassin. After the battle, the field was bathed in blood and both Aelin and Lorcan were nowhere to be found.Elide was searching frantically for her fae mate, praying that he wasn't still out there on the battlefield because the dam that had confined a vast body of water for the past millennia was about to come down courtesy of the Valg and their cunning and Elide had no intentions of letting Lorcan and his might being washed away in a watery death.

So the lady of Perranth leapt atop of Farasha despite everyone's warnings and had her charge through the fields searching for the dark warrior. It appeared that Lorcan had been wounded at some point during the skirmish and was now on the ground, bleeding out and surrounded by the reeking corpses left in the wake of the battle. His weight had slowed Farasha down significantly and the dam wouldn't hole for long. All she needed was a few more minutes and they would be safe from the inevitable flood. However they didn't have a few minutes because the rutting dam was now collapsing but Elide wouldn't let Lorcan leap of the stallion to provide the speed required to get out of the way.If Lorcan was going down, Elide was going right with him.

Suddenly, Aelin appeared out of nowhere and took position, her month of confinement was supposed to stand against a thousand years of it but Aelin wouldn't go down without a fight so she launched everything she had at the rushing wave that sought to wash her away from this world to the next.Elide sobbed in relief as the fire held and after a few short moments, Farasha made it back to the keep and Lorcan was rushed towards some healers to begin his recovery.

By some miracle, Lycans were now hearing about the possessed werewolf who sought to wipe them out for whatever dastardly reason under some secret form of communication and were now rallying to stand against this new threat. The Lycans who found each other formed a powerful militia force who struck terror in to the humans whom they've been hiding amongst for so many years.Yet it only made finding them all the more easier for Neon."Hmmmm an army of Lycans, isn't that an interesting sight?" Maeve sighed as Neon landed on a street, reverted to his male form and followed the scent of the newly formed militia he had no intentions of butchering but knew he would anyway.
