This is another song from Kaden Mackay called Don't you dare (Make me fall in love with you ) I just wanted to add the song because I wanted to slow things down a bit and try to expand Scar and Grian's thoughts and not just instantly go back to be happy. (Well theres gonna be another sad chapter after this but I want more angst :P )

As they walked out of the party together, Pearl finally had an opportunity to speak to her brother alone and to ask about the situation at hand. She was confused by the way he was behaving, with tears streaming down his cheeks and his head tilted down in an expression of sadness. "What happened? Mumbo came running to me and said you were crying," Pearl asked, looking at her brother with a look of concern in her blue sapphire eyes. "I'm such an idiot..." Grian mumbled quietly, expressing his regrets about what he had done, and Pearl quickly understood what he meant.  She leaned down to meet Grian's short height (SHORT)and moved her beautiful hair with both shades of light colors out of her face. It sounded like Grian was saying that he was an idiot for kissing Scar, and she didn't know what to say to that. Grian went on to tearfully explain, "I kissed Scar." Grian's head tilted further down, as he felt the loving touch of his sister's arms wrapped around him and providing him with warmth and comfort. Pearl seemed to have a natural ability to pull him away from darkness and sadness, and in this moment, he felt overwhelmed by this gesture of love from her. "I-I just don't know what to do," he mumbled, sounding desperate, but suddenly Pearl was gently pulling him away and leading him towards the exit of the backyard. "C-come on Grian, let's go home." 

When Pearl unlocked the door to their house, Grian walked passed her and headed up the stairs to his room. He closed the door behind him in a state of pure sadness and regret, feeling overwhelmed by the emotions within him. He laid down on his bed with his face buried in his pillows, as if he hoped that he could hide himself away from everyone and everything. It was like he wanted to escape from the world and all the feelings that he had no control over. 

Grian's mind was spinning out of control, thinking about Scar and regretting the recent action that he had taken. What was he thinking when he decided to kiss him? Why did he allow his feelings to overcome him in such a way? He felt like such an idiot for letting himself kiss his crush, even if it felt natural in the moment. Grian's entire mind was filled with thoughts of regret, and he just couldn't handle the guilt anymore. He simply broke down into tears and began to sob softly, not able to contain his emotions anymore. He just wanted the pain to go.
