Chapter 14

*Ashton's pov*
His lips were soft. The kiss only lasted about three minutes, but I could still feel his lips on mine. I looked up at him, he grinned at me, that grin that made his cheeks grow and he looked like two year old.
"You don't know how long I have waited to do that" he said.
I blushed, "oh gods..."
He kept grinning. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
I smiled, "of course"
We laid there for a little in each other arms. Then I slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

*Deans pov*
I woke up in the morning and saw she was still in my arms. Thank gods that wasn't a dream. Her curly hair was covering up her face, I gently moved it then looked at the time. Nine-twenty four. I slowly got up and she curled into my pillow. I grabbed a extra pair of clothes and then showered, and changed. I came back out and she was still asleep. I chuckled, then sat beside her. "Ash" I said. Nothing. I bent down. "Ashton" she turned over. I smiled and then laid down and wrapped my arms around her, "princess you have to wake up"
She groaned. "Dean..."
"Yes?"
"Why do I have to?"
"Cause we gotta find that kid"
She mumbled something I didn't get and slowly sat up. She rubbed her eyes and then got her bag and went to the bathroom. I heard the water turn on, and she took a shower. She came out a few minutes later. Her hair damp and a pair of shorts, a matron colored shirt, and vans on. She put her dagger on her belt loop and looked at me. I smiled, "you look beautiful"
She chuckled. "Thanks"
I slowly stood up and put my backpack on, "I guess we should be leaving."
She nodded and put something's in her backpack and then left.
We walked back down to the main lobby and I signed out. she was standing outside when I was done, she staring at a tree. I guess she saw me when I walked out cause she looked over. "Hey" she said.
"Hello" I smiled, she smiled back.
"Come on let's go look for that kid." She said and started walking.
It felt like ages before we reached a cave. She walked in while I held a flashlight. She looked around, " I don't see anyone" she said.
"Me either" I said. That's when we heard the scream, she flinched and then looked at the direction of the scream. A long short passage way. "Just keep the flashlight pointing in the passageway so I could see" she said then crawled in. I did as she said.

*Ashton pov*
Holy hera this passage was long. About when I was about to say screw it and turn back around and leave the kid for dead. It opened up to a huge cave. I couldn't see deans light anymore but there was enough light to see. "Hello?" I called out. Then I saw the girl sitting in a corner curled up. I slowly made my way over to her, "don't come near me" she said. She didn't sound older then eleven.
"I'm here to help you, I'm Ashton. I'm from camp" I said, still slowly walking.
"She'll kill you"
"Who will?" I asked.
"The lamia" she said.
My eyes widened, what have I got my self into. I remember when I was younger in world history they taught us about the Lamia. She was a child eating demon. I groaned and then slowly picked the girl up, "I won't let her hurt you" she said. she held on to me. "She already has." then held up her right.. Arm. Half of it was eaten off. Then I quickly put her in the passageway. Then something grabbed my leg, "go!" I said loudly.
