Chapter 8

"Well holy Hades" Dean said smiling.
I looked at my seeing the dagger, "how'd I do that?" I asked.
"Why are you asking me?"
"Because you usually know"
"I'm guessing it's because the force within you"
"The force?"
"Well magic"
I laughed, "you're so weird"
He smiled, "you still like me though"
"Oh shut up"
----Later----
So after the whole swimming thing I went to my cabin and told Adam.
"You what?!" He asked standing next to his bed.
"Yeah you heard me. I was swimming, Dean grabbed my leg and a Crystal Dagger appeared in my hand."
"Really?" He asked again
"Yes Adam!"
"Show me"
I chuckled and looked at my hand, thinking about the dagger. The dagger appeared in my hand.
"Holy.." he said in awe, "that's awesome!"
"I know right" I smiled and made it disappear.
"Where'd it go?" He asked
"Heck if I know."
He shrugged, "well Hermione go change. we have to go too dinner"
I chuckled and grabbed my clothes them went to the bathroom.
---Dinner---
I sat at my table trying to eat, but I couldn't. Adam told everyone in the cabin about the dagger, so I had to show them.
When I finally got to eat, I looked over and saw Dean staring at me. I looked away and continued eating. When I was done I put the rest of my food for my Mom then went out side. I walked to my cabin, I saw a book self in the back of the room. I walked over it finding books about magic and different things. I grabbed one about Magic and sat on the back porch reading. It felt like only minutes I was out there, then came Dean. He sat beside me on the floor and smiled, "whatcha doing?"
"Reading. what else does it look like?" I asked smiling looking up at him
"I don't know, you could be thinking of evil plans"
"Wow" I laughed "I'm not. I'm just reading about Magic"
He nodded, "ah I see"
I smiled, "yeah, but anyway why'd you come to my cabin"
"I saw you and I was like 'well there's Ashton. I'm gonna go bug the crap out I her until she turns me into a frog'" he smiled.
I laughed, "wow. Why would I turn you into a frog?"
"Cause I feel like that's something you would do. plus you'd have to kiss me and turn me into a prince" he chuckled.
"Or I could turn you back. Without kissing you" I said.
"I like my version better"
I laughed, "you're awful"
Our conversation went on for hours. we talked about all kinds of different things books, the gods, the dagger, all the things we liked and things we hated. It got around 11:25 and it started getting cold, I pulled my legs into my chest.
"Cold?" He asked
"Yeah" I replied
"Here" he said pulling off his hoodie.
"No I got one in my drawers, I'll go get it in a minute"
"Ashton just take it" he said
"Okay okay" I said and out it on. yes it was way to big for me.
He chuckled, "it swallowed you whole"
"It cause you're so tall" I said playing with the sleeves.
"No it's because you're short" he chuckled.
I laughed and hit his arm playfully, "shut up"
He laughed and wrapped a arm around me, "you gotta help keep me warm. since I gave you my hoodie"
I chuckled putting my head on his shoulder, "you just want a reason to put your arm around me"
"Well... you are like Hermione after all" he smiled.
