*Kaitlin's POV*
"I love you" I said and kissed Calum, Sky and I were going to visit my Grandma and my brother for a week since summer has just began.
We got on the airplane and in less than an hour we were in Melbourne, we got our bags and waited for my brother and his girlfriend.
We didn't really have to wait much because they were already waiting there when we arrived.
As soon as I saw them I ran and hugged my brother, i introduced them to Sky and they immediately fell in love with her.
We arrived at my grandmas house.
Brad lived with my grandma because she didn't want to be left alone so they decided to move in with her.
My grandma came out of her kitchen and smiled big when she saw us, she hugged us right and gave us each a kiss on the cheek.
"Sky this is your grandma" I said and she smiled and hugged my grandmas leg
"I love you gama" she said and I laughed.
I helped brad put our things
In the guest room and as soon as we were done I took a quick shower

We went out to eat to some Italian restaurant, I couldn't really pronounce the name
"Oh hello Brad... And his grandma" the waiter said, I looked up to see who it was
"David?" I asked and he nodded, after I said that he asked us what we wanted to order and then he left.
David is my ex boyfriend, yeah before I left Melbourne I had a boyfriend but we had to break up because I was moving, I was kinda heartbroken but then I had met that asshole..
Anyways David and I were together since the beginning of middle school all the way to 10th grade .
He was there for me when my dad had died, he was always there when I needed him and I think that's what I loved the most about him.
My grandma had told me that after I left he was a bit depressed but he had found a new girl but they didn't really last that long .
After that we went home and I had gotten David's number he said he wanted to invite me over for dinner one day.. As friends obviously because I have a boyfriend that I truly love.
It was about 12 am when everyone was asleep and I decided to go out for a midnight walk.
I walked down the street and into this little park, I sat on one of the benches and sighed.
"What are you doing here" I heard that damn familiar voice
"Hey David" I smiled
"It seems like you hate me" he said
"I dont"
"You do"
"I dont"
"You do"
Over and over we continued fighting like this
"Look it's not that I hate you its just, I have a boyfriend" I said
He just stared at me with a hurt expression on his face
"I thought you'd wait for me" he said and walked away
Fuck I'm stupid, I wasn't meaning to hurt him hell i didn't even know I was going to find him here.
"David, I'm sorry but I really love him .. " I whispered
"And I still love you" he said, he kept on walking towards me till my back was pressed up against the tree
He started to lean closer but I pushed him away and ran back home.
I texted Calum a "goodnight" and went to sleep immediately

When I woke up I could smell eggs, bacon, and coffee
"Good Morning sunshine" my brother said and chuckled
"Morning.. Where's sky?" I asked
"She's playing with jasmine" he laughed
As we ate breakfast he told me how he had proposed to her and they were getting married in a couple months, he said I could invite my friends too .
I smiled but I was at the same time kinda sad, I had missed so much because of how me and my mother were and also because I didn't really bother checking up on them and knowing what was going on.
I talked to Brad about how sorry I was that I didn't bother calling them the last couple months, ever since my mom died I have been trying to stay away from them but when my grandmother called and asked me to come visit I just could say no.
Brad just hugged me and told me it wasn't my fault and things like that.

For the rest of the day we went out to the swimming pool they had outside and we drank a glass of lemonade too and we just talked about what has happened and things like that .
I wish it was like this forever
