"Ella?" Liam spoke quietly from his place on the edge of the bed. I ignored him, continuing to collect various items from places in the room and packing them into the little bag I had picked up on the way back to the apartment. Feeling a refreshed and renewed sense of hope after the meeting I had just been in with Joselyn and Louis, my mood was pretty decent...I was hoping Liam wouldn't be at the apartment when I got back so we could keep it that way.
"Liam, I'm only here to grab some stuff and then I'm leaving again. I don't want to talk" I snapped glaring at him. Yes I was being harsh, but Liam deserved it! I tried to break things off the easy way but of course my stubborn and pig headed idiot of an ex boyfriend had to get in the way of things and go reporting crap to the police.
"Ella I really think your making a mistake. Where are you going to stay anyways?" I rolled my eyes, was he seriously still trying to get me to talk?
"It's none of your business where Im going to stay, I'm not yours anymore remember?" I chirped smirking at Liam who now sat on the bed with his arms crossed over his chest and a frown spread over his face.
"I'm just trying to make sure that you'll be safe, Ella I..."
"I don't need you to make sure I'm safe!" I shouted cutting him off mid sentence. " Your not my mother, your not my father, and as of a few hours ago you are no longer my boyfriend so just stop trying to control every aspect of my life!" I was shaking I was so angry. After pretty much forcing me into a crowded car with him and then telling me he is going to keep me away from the love of my life I wasn't feeling very open to hearing what he had to say. Liam sat quietly, waving his hands in the air to signify he surrendered.
I shoved the last few items into my bag and walked to the closet to pick out a few jackets to bring along with me. As angry as I was Liam had posed a great question; where would I stay tonight? Joselyn's, Louis? The street....even that would be better than sleeping within the same four walls of the man who claimed to love me but in all actually had only strangled me with his possesiveness. Ripping my Northface from the hanger and pulling it over my arms I glanced at Liam. He was running his hands through his hair and mumbling to himself. Walking across the room to the door with my bag I slid into the first pair of shoes I saw.
"I'm only doing this for you, you know?" Liam whispered as I reached for the doorknob. I froze, his words struck a certain chord in my heart.
"Are you sure your not doing this to try and save US?!" I asked without turning to face him. I heard Liam exhale a heavy breathe before responding to me.
"Ella, I'm doing this because I love you."
"Bull Crap." I whispered almost inaudibly and then I left, pulling the door shut behind me and turning the lock for what may just be the very last time.

The rain had let up and the wind had come to a stop. I stood with my hands in my pockets and my baggy hood draped over my head, slumped against a lightpost. How far I had walked since I'd left Liam's apartment I did not know. But I knew it was cold, and dark, and wet. And as I stood there looking almost as miserable as I felt, I wished nothing more then to be home somewhere in a warm bed and dressed in pajamas.
"Get In!" A burgendy truck came rolling to a noisy stop right in front of the street curb I was perched on and Harry's gorgeous head stuck out the window on the passengers side beckoning me to open the door and enter the vehicle.
"So demanding!" I teased pulling my hood off my head. Harry chuckled beeping the horn, I covered my ears.
"Would you rather sit out here all night? Now come on!" He didnt have to tell me twice! Before he had even finished his sentence I was out of the cold nights air and in the passengers seat of the large warm car.
