She picked up a twig from the ground and drew the symbols which they all had drawn earlier.
She wanted to make sure that she had done everything right by that moment.
Catherine had told her that the circle had glowed once she had directed her magic at it.
She closed her eyes and focused on the circle with her palms stretched towards it.
She felt electricity spiralling around her.
When she opened her eyes the circle were glowing, as Catherine had told her.
It almost sucked out all the magic in her palm, like it had happened to the rest.
Then the large circle started opening up and pushing her inside. She was scared but only a second until she remembered what Catherine had told her, this was part of the memory.
The very moment she found herself inside the circle and began to search around.
She was still standing by the fountain, but she wasn't alone anymore.
They were all nervous to get this done, everyone except for April. She knew that everything would be okay and if anything had to happen to her, it would be out of sacrifice from the kingdom.
"This is it. It's time." April said to the group.
"Let's go."
"The three of us should stick together." Cassidy pointed out.
Ember's giant birds were perched on the walls of the castle. As soon as they'd caught sight of them coming near, the birds darted towards them releasing their piercing screams.
"Let's go."
Aaron, Dairon and Livian headed to the front leaving Catherine, Tanya, Cassidy and April a few steps behind. The birds charged at them, but they confronted them steadily.
Aaron was grabbing them with his lianas and dragging them down, Livian were incapacitating them with his water spheres, while Dairon was throwing a rain of rocks at them.
"Quick! We have to get to the throne hall as fast as we can."
