Yvonne's pov
Days, weeks, and months have passed since Zeus started courting me. Like normal courting style, we go on dates, hang out, and sometimes he even has dinner with me and my family, he also introduces me to his parents. Though it is nothing extravagant or elegant every effort he made has a special place inside my heart and to know that this man is a great guy makes me wonder what will be the best way to say yes to him once he asks me to be his girlfriend.
Yes, you read it right, I will say yes to him. through the months that passed he never missed a single day without making me smile and special, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have this man. I didn't know what I did to my past life to deserve this.
We are currently practicing for our graduation ceremony, there is only a week left before our graduation day before we finally step into the senior high school.
I can't believe that I've already finished high school and I'm getting closer to achieving my dream of becoming one of the best software developers.
After our practice, Zeus approached me together with our other friends to head to the cafeteria.
"What do want to eat?" Pagtatanong nito. "Turon nalang di naman Ako masyadong gutom" I answered back to his question.
He just nodded and left together with our guy friends while we the girls looked for a place to sit. Mabilis naman kami nakahanap kasi wala na masyadong tao.
"Here" he put the food down and sat beside me. "May gagawin ka ba mamaya?" I just shake my head as a response.
"Can you come with me?"
"Where?" I ask while looking at him not minding our noisy friends.
"Mag didinner kasama family ko, besides nirequest din ni mom na isama kita since she already misses you." He said and suddenly our friends started teasing us.
"Parang may hindi kayo sinasabi samin ah, kayo na ba?" Pang aasar samin ni Ricky.
I just threw the plastic at him and roll my eyes "Dami mong alam" I just said.
They laughed and continued teasing us we didn't mind then since sanay narin naman kami ni Zeus sa kanila, Wala kayang araw na lumipas na hindi nila ginawa yan.
"Mauna na kami guys" nagpaalam na kami sa kanila kasi ihahatid pa ko pauwi ni Zeus.
Nakipag apir lang sya sa mga lalaki and lumapit naman ako sa girl to hug them goodbye. Lumapit ako kay Ricky at binatukan ito.
"Aray ko, ansama talaga ng ugali mo!" sigaw nito ng tumakbo ako palapit kay Zeus at yumakap sa braso nito dumila lang ako dito.
"Ok, lang yan love naman kita" natatawa kong sabi dito.
Pagtapos ng kulitan namin umalis na kami ni Zeus dahil baka mahuli pa kami sa dinner.
"See you later" he simply said and kissed me on the forehead.
Pag dating namin sa bahay ay umalis na agad sya para makapag ayos din susunduin nalang daw niya ako mamaya.
"Ok ingat ka" I wave my hands at him and proceed to enter the house.
Pagpasok ay binati ko si mama at papa. "Ma, may dinner po kami kasama yung family ni Zeus" pagpapaalam ko kay mama.
"Sige lang basta wag masyadong mag papagabi" niyakap ko si mama at tumuloy na sa kwarto ko para makapag bihis na.
Nang matapos ako nakita ko sa labas na naghihintay na sakin si Zeus habang naka suot ng black trousers and white button-down polo shirt while I on the other hand wore a white dress and a pair of black sandals.
"Hey, you look really pretty in that dress" he kissed me on the chicks while saying that I couldn't help but blush because of what he said.
"You too" I replied while looking away at him.
He just laughed and we got into his car with his driver inside. Malamang may driver he's just seventeen and he doesn't have a license.
I also forgot to mention that his family is rich and yet he still studies at a public school since he said he wants to experience a normal high school life makes me think that, if you are studying at a private school are you not having a normal high school life? What a crazy man.
After about 20 minutes we got to the restaurant, and his family was already there. "Good evening tita, Tito" I kiss them on the cheeks.
"Hello Liam" I wave my hands at Liam, Zues's younger brother. He looked at me and got up from his seat to hug and kiss me.
"I miss you ate," he said while not breaking the hug. "Enough with that Liam, she's mine." Hinila ako palayo ni Zeus kay Liam. I glared at him and he just looked at me innocently like he was not acting crazy.
We sat on our seats and waited for the food to be served while we talked about the track and course we planned to take.
"So iha, what do you plan to take in senior high?" Tita asks me elegantly.
"Well I am thinking of taking ICT under TVL track po" I replied to her respectfully.
"That's impressive iha are you planning to become a software developer?" Tito added. "You're right Tito, it has been my dream since I started high school" Tito just nodded at me and looked at Zeus.
"What about you son?"
Zeus looks at his father and thinks for a second "I wanted to be a lawyer so maybe I'll take HUMMS"
"That's good anak, but what is the reason why you want to take that track?" Tito asks curious why his son wants to be a lawyer.
"Well honestly it's because of the injustice for the poor," he said, his face saddened because of that. "Justice nowadays is not in the hands of the law anymore but in the hands of wealthy and powerful people who use it to cover their dirty deeds and sometimes they even blame the poor for the sins they committed" I nodded at his response.
This is one of the reasons I admire this man beside me, he is not some rich boy who has had everything handed to him since he was a kid. Instead he the kind of man who wants to change something in this unfair world.
