CHAPTER 34

Yvonne's pov

Malamig na simoy ng hangin ang aking naramdaman ng itapak ko ang aking mga paa sa labas ng airport. Finally! I'm back. After nine long years of being away, I'm finally home.

I looked around to look for a taxi while Reve on the other hand had his phone up, probably texting his parents that we had landed safely. I waved my hand when a taxi driver pulled off to our side.

"Saan po kayo ma'am?" He respectfully asked me. "Sa Taytay, Rizal lang po" He nodded his head and stepped outside to help with the luggage.

"Where's Taytay, Rizal? Malayo ba yun?" Reve furrowed while asking that question."Just wait and see" He opened the door for me before sitting at the front.

"C6 nalang po tayo daan manong" Kuyo nodded and started the engine, dahil sa pagod at agad akong nakatulog.

I felt a soft pat on my cheeks and it was Reve who was looking at me, I moved and looked around. Nandito na pala kami sa tiange.

"Dito nalang po kami kuya, maraming salamat po" I handed him a blue bill since wala pa kong barya, he was supposed to hand me the change but I refused and said gift the change.

We thanked him once again before taking our luggage. I looked around to see if there was a tricycle station nearby and luckily there was.

Sumakay kami sa isang tricycle at sinabi ko ang aming address. I didn't tell my parents that I was coming home today with someone.

When we arrived at our house I excitedly stepped out of the tricycle while Reve paid the driver. I can't wait to knock at our door and see my parent's reaction.

"Come! I can't wait to see them again!" Hinila ko ma si Reve at iniwan ang bagahe namin sa tapat mg gate, mamaya ko nalang iisipin yan masyado akong excited makita ang mga magulang ko.

I knocked on our door twice and patiently waited for someone to open the door for me. "Sandali lang!" My eyes immediately teared up when I heard my mama's voice. Reve on the other hand patted me on my shoulder to comfort me.

The door slowly opened "Sino ya-" My mama's mouth went agape when she saw me standing at our door. She hugged me tightly not even letting air pass through us. Sobrang tagal kong hinintay ang pangyayaring ito.

"Ma, bakit ang tagal mo?" Papa peeked from our sala and jumped right away when he saw me. He joined our hug and cried like mama. I can't help but cry too I'm too overjoyed to see them.

"Ang anak ko napaka ganda mo na" Hinawakan ako sa pisnge ni mama habang tinitingnan ng maigi ang aking buong mukha. Niyakap nila akong muli ng mahigpit kaya napatawa ako.

"Sobra kitang namiss prinsesa ko" Hinalikan ako ni papa sa noo habang nakayakap parin sakin.

Nang humiwalay sila sa yakap ay dun nila napansin ma kasama ko si Reve. Nanlaki ang mga mata ni mama at papa habang nakatingin lay Reve.

He awkwardly waved his hands at my parents while saying hi to them, while my parents were still shocked to see Reve. My parents already met him and Shine but only through online communication, they were probably shocked because of how good-looking Reve is.

"Napaka gwapong bata naman nito" Lumapit si mama dito at sinuri ang kanyang mukha. "Ganyan di ang itsura ko noong kabataan ko, kinupas nga lang ng panahon" Sabi ni papa at hinawakan pa ang ilalim ng baba habang patango tango sa sinasabi.

"Anong ganyang itsura ang sinasabi mo Diego? Eh, mas may ibubuga ang binatang ito kesa sayo" Singhal ni mama kay papa kaya di ko napigilan na tawanan silang dalawa.
