When we walk in the house is nice and warm, the outside weather slipping into winter more and more. Harry is sitting on the sofa watching a football game, but Jack is nowhere in sight, "Where is Jack?" I ask walking over to Harry.

"Oh, wow that's nice isn't it, no hey uncle how's your day been just straight up where's my boyfriend. It's fine I see how it is," he jokes, and he laughs when he sees me. "That has my mum written all over it. And you thought it would be as simple as going and getting a few essentials for the weekend. New hairs nice though." He comments.

"You're so funny, but where is he, I need to break some news to him." I tell him.

"You finally listening to me and are breaking up with him?" He jokes but I know this is only half a joke.

"No, she's agreed to go for a drink to talk with Luke!" Freddie blurts out.

Harry's face drops, "that's going to go down like a lead balloon."

"I know, but I just need to talk to him now and try and keep him calm, he might understand. I'm with him he knows that."

"And pigs might fly." Freddie oh so kindly adds.

"He's in your room, he went up to shower like twenty minutes ago, the nutcase did more than me at the gym and then went and ran twenty km. Hurt my ego a bit, I was in bits at the gym and then I came home and had a family sized bar of chocolate."

I dismiss myself quickly to go upstairs and talk to Jack as I walk across the long landing that separates the main bedroom from the rest of the house, I can feel my heart pounding with each step.

"Babe?" I call as I push the door open. Jack is laying on the bed in his boxers the TV also playing the same football game that Harry is watching downstairs.

"Wow you look hot! Jesus Christ that's a lot of shopping bags!" He says as I drop them to the floor taking me coat off and disgracing my boots.

"Thank you," I answer.

"The hair looks nice, suits you. Come give me a cuddle I missed you."

I clamber onto the bed and snuggle into his side. "I missed you too. Harry said you went on a twenty km run after the gym I don't think I would be able to run down that corridor without getting out of breath." I answer.

"Yeah, it's just a really nice place to run here." He answers snuggling his head on top of mine.

"I need to talk to you about something but I need you to not get angry and remember we are on holiday with other people." I bring up and he stiffens underneath me. I sit up so I can see him clearly.

"That sounds serious." He answers leaning to sit up again the headboard, I start to play with the pillow in front of me.

"I saw Luke while I was out, and we both need to have a conversation about how everything went down. It isn't fair how I left things. We're meeting for a drink at eight. So, I need to go and I really want you to understand that I love you, I'm with you and that's not going to change." Jack remains emotionless, sat unmoving while I just sit and await his reaction.

"No." Was all he answers.

"I wasn't asking permission." I state getting annoyed at him thinking he can make my decisions again.

"You want to go, while we're on holiday may I add, and meet your ex-boyfriend for a drink and I just sit here like a mug waiting for you to come home? No." He replies clearly pissed off.

"Jack, I left things with him by him leaving and me running after you and the next day you told you mum I was your girlfriend. I think I owe the boy an explanation." I retort.
