"You guys are literally no help you know that." I am standing in my room attempting to pack for the trip tomorrow and Freddie and Jack insisted on helping me - I wish however they didn't because Freddie is sprawled across my bed turning his nose up at half the stuff I am trying to pack."Well that is just rude I think I am being really helpful," Freddie says, taking a top I packed out of my bag and onto the bed, "look how helpful I'm being- this top is a no no." He then sprawls himself out on my bed his lanky legs hanging over the end.
"Oh yeah you're so helpful," I tell him giving him a shove, which made him fall of the bed flat on his face, Jack was already laughing before poor Freddie even hit the floor.
"Oh my God Freddie I'm so sorry," I feel immediately relieved when Freddie starts to laugh to proving that he is not harmed in anyway.
"Don't worry about it- Just remind me to never piss you off," I just shake my head and attempt to finish packing my clothes.
"Have either of you packed?" I ask.
"I'm doing it tomorrow," Jack answers me first.
"I need to go get some clothes from my mum and dads but my car's getting fixed. Jack can you take me later? They should be out." He turns to Jack who is sitting in the chair reading my book.
"I would man but I have work in half an hour, I could take you tomorrow?" Jack offers.
"I have college tomorrow so I have no time, but thanks anyway," He answers.
"Well my mum is downstairs, I can ask her?" I offer.
"Are you sure she won't mind?" Freddie seems reluctant, I know he feels like he is already putting her out by staying here, my Mum isn't like that she would rather take him there than anything else.
"Of course she won't, I'll go and ask her now." I turn and leave my room and head downstairs, I find my mum sitting flicking through a magazine, humming peacefully to herself.
"Mum can you do me a favour?" I ask her, plopping myself down on the sofa next to her.
"Hmm?" She says peeling her eyes away from the magazine she was reading.
"Freddie's car is getting fixed so he can't drive to his to go and grab the stuff from his parents and it's too much to carry on the tube. Would you mind taking us to go and get his stuff?" I know she won't mind.
"Yeah of course, when do you want to leave?" She asks me putting her magazine down on the living room table.
"In like fifteen minuets, is that okay?"
"Yeah course it is hunny." She smiles at me, it is a smile so warm that I realise how much I miss spending time with my mum. I wrap my arms round her, she immediately wraps one arm round me and one stroking my hair gently, just like she has always done since I was a kid.
"What's this for? Not that I'm complaining," My mum chuckles, hugging me closer.
"I just miss you that's all," I sigh.
She kisses the top of my head and we stay like this, in a comfortable silence until I hear Freddie and Jack come downstairs.
"Arw I want a hug now," Freddie exclaims throwing his arms round Jack, making Jack stumble back due to the impact but regains himself in a blink of an eye.
Jack gives Freddie a hug before trying to pull Freddie off of him, "Okay bud, I have to go to work now." Jack chuckles.
"Okay," Freddie lets go and rolls his eyes, joking around and sits down next to me one the sofa, I let go of my mum and sit back into the sofa.
