58-We're Your Family

"Where is the headmasters office?" Mum demands as we walk through the main building doors. I honestly can't believe she is doing this.

"I'm sure Jack can show the way, he's been there enough times before!" Joanne tells my mum and Jack just laughs, "this way." They all start following him down the corridors. Joanne has come as well as this concerns Jack too due to the fighting. Jack laces his fingers with mine, "this is a good thing baby!" He whispers, "those fuckers deserve to be punished." We carry on the walk down the hall to the office. My Dad already phoned them this morning, he thought it was best it was him who pre warn them before my Mum goes in there all guns blazing. Jack and I lead our parents the way to the office till we're standing outside, My Dad knocks on the door as we wait patiently for the door to open. Joanne is in her nurses uniform, she has work after this as do both my parents and they are both dresses to the nines for that. My Mum has started to work with my Grandmother in the marketing side of the company and she is loving every moment of it. She is wearing a very expensive pantsuit with equally expensive heels all curtsy of my Grandmother and he ring flashes in the light as she knocks on the door when there is no answer the first time. 

The door opens then to reveal a kind of sheepish head master, I have never spoken to him before but Jack is more or less on a first name bases with the guy. "Please come in." We all follow him into the room and there is already five chairs laid out in front of the desk and we all sit down, Joanne is on the end with Jack, then me, then my Mum and finally my Dad on the other end. "Well I think you know why we're here. My partner discussed it briefly with you this morning on the phone." My Mum tells him and he pales a little, she might be a little women but she is very scary when she wants to be and the tone of her voice made me worried too. 

"I understand Miss Turner and we will get right into that, I want to assure you that Lambeth College has a zero tolerance on bullying. Emily," he looks to me now, "I just wanted to say welcome back, what a pleasure it is to see you back and well and I am extremely sorry about what happened to you and the lose you have experience if there is anything that we can do or put in place for you please do let us know." He gives me the sympathetic smile I have become accustom to recently. 

"I wouldn't welcome her back too soon, depending on how this goes she may no longer be attending this college." My Mum answers back with a sickly sweet smile on her face and his smile drops.

"I understand Miss Turner, so there is an allegation of bullying towards Emily. What students are involved?" He asks.

"Sean Peirce and Clara Jones. I have all the messages printed off for you to read." My Mum hands him the bunch of papers she printed of this morning and as he reads through each message his face drops more and more.

"I will have them pulled into the office along with their parents, I'm very sorry Emily that you have had to endure this kind of horrific treatment." He explains and he is out of the room and he is quick to make phone calls to the receptionist to have them both here with their parents as a matter of urgency. 

"I would just like to add that both times you have had Jack suspended has been down to the bullying Emily has endured, this was also verbal abused and threats against my daughter which understandably lead to a physical reaction from her boyfriend. I am fully aware that in any situation violence is not the answer but I think we would all also find it understandable to go through Jack's records and have this stated as the reason for this. We can't take his punishment away but I think that the Chelsea team should be made aware about this." My Dad tells him in his business forward voice.

"I completely agree, I will personally phone the team myself as will the coach and explain the situation to the at hand and send them a new version of your transcripts. Congratulations by the way Jack what an amazing achievement and very well deserved, we have had a lot of media buzz from this, a lot of people inquiring about interviews." He tells him and Jack just rolls his eyes.
