My eyes glanced down at the floor in shame and sorrow, not wanting to see the fear locked in her eyes. I let my arms fall to my sides, and I felt Madison's arms slowly slip away from my neck. My thoughts were jumbled inside, and I bit my lip nervously. I could feel the fear radiating off of her, and I knew she was terrified of me, or what I am to become. I let out a long sigh, not meeting her eyes.
"I'm sorry," I whispered, "I told-"
My words were cut off when I felt the warmth of her arms wrapping themselves around me tightly, bringing herself to my chest. I was taken aback a bit, but soon wrapped my cold arms around hers, resting my head on the top of hers. "I know you," Madison said softly, looking up at me, "and you are not what she said you were. Maybe at one point you were," I looked away, memories of my past flooding my head, but Madison tilted my head to face her once again, "but not anymore. You're a guardian fallen angel; the only one to be exact. You're obviously more than what you're labeled to be, and that means you still have good left in you."
I smiled warmly, kissing her forehead softly. "Grace, angel." I mumbled in her ear, and she looked at me, a wave of confusion washing over her face. I chuckled quietly. "It's called grace. Grace is what an angel has that truly makes them an angel. When you fall, you lose your grace. I still have some; not a lot, but just enough to make me evolve from a pure fallen angel."
Madison nodded silently, smiling up at me. Even in the dark room, I could still see the blush that was creeping up on her cheeks. I pecked her lips softly, and was taken aback once more as I felt it. She looked at me confusingly, "I feel.."
"You what-" Madison stopped herself as her mouth dropped, her eyes wide. My mouth was agape as well, and I smiled ear to ear, running my hands through my hair as she traced her hands all along my body. "You can feel me, you can feel Andy!" She exclaimed.
I nodded excitedly, for I had longed to feel the touch of someone else for so long. I hadn't realized it, for I had been so focused on Madison and keeping her safe, but now I realize what happened. "It's because of my grace," I said softly, lacing our fingers together. "I can feel."
"I'm so happy for you," She said, smiling ear to ear like I am. I laughed softly, pushing her softly onto the bed. She beamed at me and tossed the covers off of the bed. Madison stared at me, and I gave a small look of confusion. "You know what I want."
A wave of realization washed over me and I chuckled to myself. I slid my shirt off over my head, throwing it to the side, leaving my bare chest open for the cold air to dance along. I arched my back, my head now resting on Madison's legs as she watched. I shut my eyes tightly and felt as my bones and body began to readjust, releasing my two wings out into the open. I stretched them slowly, for they hadn't been out in a few days, and beat them against the wind softly. I sat straight up, cracking my back before looking at Madison, a smile on her face.
"Here you go," I said mockingly, and she couldn't help but giggle as she laid herself down on the pillow. I laughed as well and felt the pillow sink underneath my head as I laid it down. My wings slid themselves around Madison, wrapping around her protectively as my arms wrapped around her as well. She turned, her face on my bare chest, and I smiled as I felt her kiss me softly.
"Goodnight Andy," Madison whispered softly against my chest, nestling her head in the crook of my neck. I smiled warmly, "Goodnight Angel."

"Ah shit!" Savanah shouted, tossing the remote controller to the side on the couch. Madison snickered as her fingers pressed rapidly against the buttons. I snickered to myself, watching as the animated zombies were being shot one by one on the flat screen television. "This is bogus. Revive me!"
"Eh, maybe." Madison sneered.
"Ooo," I mocked, pointed at Savanah. Her lips formed in an irritated line and she scowled at me, muttering under her breath. She sank back into my couch, watching as Madison dodged a herd of zombies. "I'm getting some drinks."
"Grab me a soda?" Savanah asked.
I shrugged. "Eh, maybe."
Savanah tossed her hands up in the air, her mouth open. She looked around the room, yelling, "I can't catch a break!"
I laughed and walked into the kitchen. I rummaged through the cabinets, grabbing three glasses and shutting it with my shoulder. I set them down gently. I spun around, opening the fridge, the cold air escaping. It danced on my skin, and I shivered as I reached further inside. I grabbed the liter of soda and the gallon of milk for Madison, shutting it behind me.
"I can't believe it," I heard Savanah whispered to Madison, but my crisp hearing made it feel like she was next to me. "Andy and his band have gotten so famous in such a short amount of time! And you're dating him!" I smiled to myself, pouring the drinks in the glasses. "I know," I heard Madison whisper, "I'd love him even if he wasn't famous. I just don't know how to go back to school heh."
They both laughed, and I snickered to myself. I snagged the three drinks and carefully headed out of the kitchen, setting the drinks on the coffee table gently. Savanah sighed in relief as she gulped hers down, and Madison took small sips, her eyes never leaving the screen. "Thank you, Andy."
"Mhm," I nodded, sipping my drink.
I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket, and I reached inside. My hand wrapped itself around the small phone and snagged it out, reading the bright screen. I squinted a bit but was then shocked as I saw her name appear on my phone screen. It read:
[Andy, it's Moraine. Meet me in cemetery @ 3:30. It's important.]
I glanced over at the clock. The long hand reached out to the four while the shorter hand was at the three. What could she possibly want? I haven't spoken to her since the alley way misunderstanding, and I had nothing to say to her now. I looked over at Madison worriedly, and sighed.
"Hey babe," I spoke up, causing her to pause the game and fix her attention on me. "I gotta run some errands," I gave her a you know what glare, and she understood. "I'll be back soon."
"Alright," she said softly, and pecked my cheek as I bent down. I smiled, waving goodbye as I walked out the front door. I rummaged for my keys, cursing as I realized they were still inside. I turned to walk back but then an idea struck, and I smirked a bit. I shook off my leather jacket, leaving only my tight white tee shirt clinging to my body. I relaxed my body, arching my back as I felt them come out.
My wings crawled out of my back slowly, tearing the fabric on my back. I hadn't cared, though. I smiled as I felt the warm sun beat against my wings, warming them. I slowly beat them, harder and harder against the air. My feet soon lifted off, leaving only a few inches beneath me. I let myself push further and further up until I was at a decent height. Without warning, I launched myself into the sky, letting myself glide along side by side in the clouds. My hands brushed through them, and I felt my smile widen as I soared about tree tops below me. I picked up the speed, my destination being the cemetery. I hadn't had a clue what she needed to talk about, but I had a feeling it wasn't good news.
