Music blasted loudly, echoing all throughout the forest around it. Hands were thrown up while bodies were bouncing up and down, hollering and shouting at the music. Beer spilled from cups, crashing onto the grassy floor or falling just over the edge of the large cliff that hang beside them.
My eyes looked up, scanning for her in the crowd. Her delicate floral scent wafted in my nose, dancing along inside my nostrils. I smiled, chuckling to myself as I waited for her. My eyes stopped when I saw something move, and I watched as she emerged from the sweat covered bodies dancing along the edge, not paying attention to anything at the time.
My smile grew wider, and her beautiful blue eyes looked around in the water, a hint of fear and doubt barely showing. She nibbled her lip hesitantly, afraid of what lies beneath the water. I moved a few steps closer, waiting patiently. My senses were going crazy; I needed her. I needed her right here, right now.
Jump. My voice slid inside of her head.
Her eyes went wide and she turned her head over her shoulder, glancing around for someone she wouldn't find there. Her eyes then looked forward into the forest, squinting to see any figures but finding no one in sight. She sighed, scratching her head hesitantly as she looked down at the crystal clear water below her, doubting the voice in her head. I snickered to myself, eyeing her.
Jump! I shot in her head once more, a little more stern.
At that her body was taken back a bit, and with one last glance around, I watched as she let herself fall. Her body sliced through the air easily, and her screams filled the air as she grew further and further from the cliff's edge. I smiled more and dashed forward, watching her body continue to fall. She wriggled around in the air, trying to hold onto the air but watched as it slipped through her fingers, and at that her screams grew louder.
Her body was getting closer to the water, and in one split movement-
"Gah!" Madison screamed, panting a bit as she looked in my eyes. "Andy!"
I chuckled softly, cradling her in my arms. "Yes?"
"You scared the shit out of me!" Madison said as she glared at me, slapping my arm. At that, I tilted my head back and laughed a bit. "I didn't know you were here. I mean, parties aren't really your thing."
I smiled, shrugging a bit. "Well, I mean, Ariana's here and she invited Ashley. And then Ashley invited CC," I trailed on, "Long story short, here I am!" Madison smiled, rolling her eyes at me as she nestled herself in my shoulder. I placed a small kiss upon the top of her head and rested mine atop of hers, holding her tightly against me as I walked through the water. Madison let out a loud shriek as I let out a laugh when a huge wave splashed at us, drenching us in water.
"Sorry, man." A dark haired kid said as he emerged from the water. He looked up, squinting in the sunlight, and waved his friends to jump down.
We both rolled our eyes and I laid her on the sandy beach, the water of the lake splashing at our toes. My body curled up next to her, wrapping my arms around her as I rubbed her back gently. She shuddered as my fingers brushed against one of her scars, and I kissed her forehead, holding her tightly.
"You know I can heal them, right?" I whispered in her ear.
Madison sighed, "Yeah.."
"Why won't you let me then angel?" I asked softly, stroking her cheek.
"I don't know," Madison sighed, shrugging, "I just.. I don't want you-"
"Madison, I've already seen the terrible things he did to you." I said softly, kissing her forehead delicately. "I know what he did to you, and I know you fought back because you loved me. Let me heal them.. Please angel."
Madison sighed softly, "Okay."
I gave a small smile and scooped her up, brushing off the sand that stuck to her tan skin. I felt her legs wrap around my waist while her arms wrapped around my neck, and she nestled her head on my shoulder. I propped her up on my back, nice and secured, and walked along the beach to the small forest that lies on the edge. Madison played with my nose ring, flicking it around and I chuckled to myself. "What are you doing?"
She shrugged, "It's fun."
I rolled my eyes, continuing to walk. Madison smiled, kissing my pale cheek, and I felt a small brush creep up on me. My feet soon reached the grassy floor of the forest, and I glanced up, noticing the trees forming a small canopy above us. The sun's rays of light peeked through just a bit, shining in small places at times as we walked past. The forest itself seemed to glow, vibrating a beautiful green throughout it. Madison tapped my shoulder and I looked up, finding her motioning me to stop and hush. I stopped, confused, as she pointed out into the distance to my right. I followed her finger and watched as two black foxes poked their heads from a bush, their eyes looking all around. Our eyes flickered over to a loud whimper and we both gasped, finding a larger black fox lodged between the dirt ground and a large tree toppling over her.
"Hold on," I whispered, setting Madison on the ground.
"What are you doing!" She hissed quietly, but I ignored her. I crept up behind the large fox who was now wriggling around, trying to break free until it made eye contact with me, and the body soon froze. Her beautiful brown eyes bored into my blue ones, and she watched as I walked closer to her. My hands reached underneath the tree, barely touching the fox's fur, and I grunted quietly as I pulled on the tree. I pulled and pulled, harder each time, and using all my strength, I managed to lift the tree up, holding it still as the fox scrambled to her feet. She dashed to her kids, and I made sure she was in the clear before I tossed the tree to the side, ending in a loud thump!
I brushed my hands against each other, letting the dirt fall to the ground as I watched her run into the forest with her two kids by her side. But before disappearing, she turned her head back to me, and I smiled as I watched her bow her head in thanks. I sighed, turning back to Madison.
"Wow," Madison said, speechless. "That was truly amazing Andy."
I smiled, embracing her in a tight hug. I felt her smile against my skin, and I kissed her cheek before whispering in her ear, "You ready?"
Madison bit her lip, but soon nodded. I smiled, laying her down on the wet clean grass. She turned herself onto her stomach, smiling as I sat myself down on her lower back. I placed small kisses all along her back, and with one final glance of reassurance, I slowly traced my tongue on one of her scars. She wriggled a bit in discomfort and whimpered softly, but relaxed as my tongue went up further on her scar. I took my time with each one, making sure to let my tongue touch all parts of each scar before I straightened up. I smiled proudly as I watched her skin wrap itself around each scar, forming a new clean back that had shown no signs of any scars being there in the first place.
"All done, angel." I whispered, sitting beside her. Madison turned over, sitting herself up to look me in the eyes. She reached her arm over her shoulder, tracing her back and letting out a small gasp. "Andy.." Madison said, her mouth hanging wide open, "Thank you so much, Andy."
I smiled, cupping her face in my hands. "Anything for you, my love."
I watched a blush appear, and I smiled, before pressing my lips against hers, pushing us both down on the cold wet grass, the kiss never breaking.
