"This heart of fire! Is stronger now," I sang loudly into the microphone, "Build your walls but you can't keep me out, I'll burn 'em down!" Jake and Jinxx finished their guitars as the song slowly died down, and soon after the room was quiet for a moment. Madison smiled, beaming at me as she clapped her hands. "Yay! Go team!"

I rolled my eyes, "Go team? Really?"

Madison smirked and rolled her eyes, causing me to chuckle to myself as I stepped away from the band. I laced our fingers together, planting a small kiss atop her perfect forehead before walking past her into the kitchen. Cold air greeted me as I opened up the refrigerator door, sliding my hand inside for a cool bottle of water. Shutting it with my foot, I leaned myself up against the counter top, sipping my water as I watched the band in the living room.

Jake and Jinxx were laughing together, sitting themselves atop the arms of the couch on opposite ends. Madison sat ever so delicately on one of the end tables, swinging her legs just above the ground. Her beautiful blue eyes looked up into Ashley's brown ones as he flashed a smile at her, talking about god knows what. Maybe a new girlfriend? You never know with Ashley, honestly.

My smile soon faded, however, as I watched her stroll in, an evil smirk plastered to that disgustingly pale face of hers. Her eyes flashed black for a quick second before settling to their natural color. Jennifer flashed a quick grin as she sat her self atop the kitchen table, her eyes never leaving mine.

"Hi Andrew," She snarled.

"Jennifer," I said under my breath, my voice stone cold. My eyes never left her, for I was starting to learn how tricky she could be. "What are you doing here?" I snapped, my voice just barely over a whisper, although I knew she could hear me.

"Why do you even ask anymore?"

I growled, flashing my yellow eyes at her. I felt as my fangs slowly started growing, my mouth now aching for they hadn't been out for awhile. My hands gripped tightly to the marble countertop, a small crack! heard as I felt it slowly start to crush underneath my hard holding. I shut my eyes tightly, swallowing hard as I tried to regain my control over my body before opening them up to meet her eyes once more. I breathed out heavily, "Get out."

"What?" My eyes shut for a split second before reopening immediately to the sound of CC's voice. I snapped my head back up, letting go of the countertop as I saw CC stand before me, his eyes wide with shock and fear perhaps? I looked around, my mouth hanging open as I watched the rest of the band look at me with questionable stares, including Madison. I swallowed hard, looking back at CC. "I just came for a beer..."

"CC," I breathed out, "I'm- so- sorry."

My eyes looked around as my breathing slowed down, coming back to its regular pace. I soon met Madison's crystal blue eyes full of worry and caution. She held her small hand out, slowly making her way to me. I felt my body shiver and jerk uncomfortably with anxiety mixed with pain in my back, and I shook my head, rushing out the kitchen door. I pushed past Madison and the rest of the band, heading down the hallway.

I slammed my bedroom door shut behind me as I stumbled into the room, my hands gripping my raven black hair. I heard myself growl underneath my breath, the bed sinking under my weight as I sat down quickly. I put my head between my legs, holding it still as I continued to breath. A scream escaped my lips as pain shot up and down my back, the feeling of a stabbing all over. What was going on?

My body ached terribly. My eyes flicked up, watching as the room began to spin around me. I shook my head frantically, shaking away the spinning of the room. The pace of my breathing was incredibly uneven- I was practically panting for breath.
