The sound of birds chirping filled the silent air, and I groaned softly. I slowly turned on my side, stretching my arm out to its full extent. I patted around me, noticing an empty bed with ruffled sheets. Confused, I managed to slowly open my eyes, only to hiss at the bright sunlight coming from the windows. My hands rubbed the sleep away from my eyes as I sat myself up, looking around. Memories flashed from last night, and my heart sunk a bit but I shook it off.

"Madison?" I called softly. No response, so my immediate thought was she was in the shower or somewhere in the house. The smell of pancakes and bacon filled my nose, and I smiled warmly- she's cooking. Swinging my legs over the bed, I slowly stood myself up, stumbling to the door as sleep tried dragging me back to bed. I shook the sleep away from my body as I headed down the hallway, turning into the kitchen.

A smirk tugged at my lips as I saw Madison's back to me, hovering over the stove. She yawned softly to herself as she flipped one of the pancakes, humming to herself. Madison looked so adorable in her tank top and short shorts that she wore to bed almost every night. I silently tip toed behind her, and chuckled as she jumped when my arms slithered around her.

"Good morning," I murmured in her hair as I placed small kisses all around her head. Madison laughed softly as I watched a small blush creep up on her delicate little cheeks. "Gosh Andy, don't scare me like that!"

"But why?" I whined, "You're so cute when you're afraid or surprised. I just wanna squeeze you," My arms locked tightly around her, giving her a small squeeze that earned me a soft squeak from her mouth. "Andy! Stop-ugh-you're so-"

"What?" I questioned, "Annoying hm?"

"No," Madison breathed out, "Strong."

I widened my eyes and immediately let go of Madison, having her catch her breath from my hug. I covered my mouth, "I am so sorry Mad-"

I was taken aback when Madison jumped on top of me, tackling me to the ground. We laughed hard as we landed on the floor, Madison pinning me down, "Actually, just annoying." She said with a smirk on that little face of hers. I shook my head, rolling my eyes, "I thought I hurt you! Ass."

"That's my name!" Madison mocked.

I rolled my eyes at her, shaking my head. My entire body was pinned to the ground, letting her have a small triumphant moment before I flipped her over with one swift movement. Madison sounded a small oof! before realizing what had happened and looking into my devious blue eyes. Glares were sent my way as I chuckled, mocking her. "Now who's the strong one?" I asked in a sarcastic tone, forcing a small giggle out of her mouth. "Still me!" She squealed, causing me to smirk wider. I raised my hands above her face, waving them slowly as my eyebrows arched. Madison studied them carefully before realization hit her, and she shook her head with wide eyes. "You wouldn't dare."

"Oh, wouldn't I?" I questioned, and without warning, I tickled her. Madison screamed and squealed, giggling and laughing so hard as it echoed throughout the house. "Stop!" She pleaded, trying to catch her breath as my hands continued to tickle her all around. "S-Stop! Y-You're t-the strong o-one!"

At that, I stopped, removing my hands and placing them above her head on the cold tile floor. My lips formed a smug smile as I looked into her beautiful eyes, whispering, "Told you so."

"Get off of me," Madison whined, pushing on my chest. Her little strength compared to mine did nothing but amuse me as I stayed in the same position, a sly smile across my face. After a few attempts, I finally gave in and stood up off of her, allowing her to sit up. Madison brushed herself off and looked up, sending deadly glares that made me chuckle more. I extended a hand her way and pulled her up right into my arms in one swift motion, earning a small squeal from her.

"Wow," Madison gasped softly.

I laughed. "Mad you knew I was strong."

"No, no. Not that," Madison said softly, looking over my shoulder. I watched as she reached her hand slowly behind me, and shuddered as she brushed her fingers along one of my wings that had just recently made their presence known. I looked over as well, shocked as to how I hadn't realized they were out this whole time. "You never keep them out in the open."

"I know," I mumbled, "I didn't even notice them until you touched them." My eyes looked over the black white tipped wings that hang just above the ground. "I think I'll keep them out for a bit- to stretch them. Is that okay?"

Madison looked into my eyes, shock washing over them. "Of course, you know how much I love them." She added, smiling warmly at me. I smiled, feeling a blush creep up on my pale cheeks, before I scrunched my nose.

"Uh, Madison," I whispered.

"Mmm?" Madison murmured.

"The breakfast is burning," I said, containing my laughter. I watched as her eyes went wide before she dashed behind me, making me burst out laughing as she frantically turned off the stove. Madison patted at the pan that flames began to rise from while I sat back, laughing my ass off. "Gah! What the- how- Andrew! A little help would be appreciated!"

"You seem to have it totally under control, Madison." I said, laughing. Madison stopped for a split second, giving me dagger glares before I raised my hands in defeat and helped her. I grabbed Madison and lightly picked her up, pulling her away from the fire and into safety behind me. My focus turned back to the fire, and my jaw clenched in concentration.

I bored my eyes into the bright yellow and orange flames that rose higher and higher, and I raised one of my wings in front of me. Swiftly, I pushed my wing out, sending a small gust of wind that engulfed the flames and brought it to its death inside of the pain, revealing the charcoal covered breakfast item that once would've been delicious. I let out a sigh of relief and success as I turned back to Madison, who's eyes were slightly wide. I arched an eyebrow up, saying, "You know you could've used the fire extinguisher before."

"I-er- no, I didn't." Madison said.

I rolled my eyes, chuckling. "I'm going to go take a shower, I'll be back in a few minutes." I grabbed her lightly, kissing her nose. "Try not to burn the place down, I really like my house."

"Try not to burn it." Madison mocked, rolling her eyes as she started a new batch of pancakes in a pan that wasn't burnt. I laughed and closed the bathroom door behind me, locking it. I reached over into the tub, turning the water on and waiting for it to warm up. Slowly, I dropped my boxers that I had slept in and reached for my shirt that wasn't there. Dumb ass, you didn't sleep with a shirt, I thought to myself.

I looked into the mirror, staring at my own reflection. My wings lay behind me, and I carefully studied them. The majority were still black as night, so dark you could barely see the black feathers that make it up. But when your eyes looked down further, the darkness slowly lightened up as it mixed with the white feathers that coated the ends. I smiled softly, touching the soft feathers lightly in my hand.

I broke my stare at my wings by hopping in the shower, allowing the hot water to submerge me in warmth. Water droplets bounced off of my skin as I ran my fingers through my black hair, followed by turning around to allow my wings to get wet as well. I lathered myself up and down, and gently washed my wings, being careful a bit with them, before washing them down once more. Surprisingly, my wings weren't a problem inside of the shower, although once I got out of the steamy shower, I felt the damp wings drag a bit. I cursed under my breath before beating them against the wind, drying them just a bit. The feathers began to ruffle and fluff a bit, but it would be an hour or two before I could fly or retract them. I slipped on a pair of jeans and snagged a shirt but then tossed it to the side. It was just Madison and I, and maybe the band later. I didn't need a shirt, did I?

I opened the door slowly, allowing the steam to roll out into the hallway, before stepping out. I heard Madison talking to herself and shook my head, chuckling. She probably burnt the breakfast again. I slowly walked up to the kitchen entrance, and slid inside, a smirk on my face. "Madison, did you-"

I stopped dead in my tracks, her eyes wide with shock. Madison ran up behind her, biting her lip. "Andy! Ah-Savanah-um," Madison stammered.

"What-the-hell," Savanah said, her voice shaking with fear. I ran my hand through my wet hair, unsure of what to do at this point.

This was going to be difficult.
