Chapter 33

I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach. Groaning I turned to my side, Bryan was no longer on bed, he must have gone to work early, I reached for my phone by the table to check the time, it was 9:00 am. Stretching I got up, went to brush my teeth and wear something comfortable before heading downstairs, I was halfway downstairs before the sharp pain hit me again,

Oh no! is my baby alright?

Clutching the rail, I bent over waiting for the pain to stop before I rush down to find Bryan, scared that something might be wrong, I need to go to the hospital. The pain subsided a bit, I left the stairs and strolled into the kitchen. Jennifer was preparing something .
"Good morning ma'am" she said immediately she spotted me

"Good morning Mrs Jenny, please have you seen Bryan?"

"Yes, he is in his study ma"

I turned to leave before saying "just call me Anne, Mrs jenny."

I knocked once before I heard him say come in he looked very busy going through some documents on his desk, his expression was stern when I came in but it softened as soon as he looked up and saw me
"good morning my love how are you today?"

"Im fine, but..." he gestured to me to come sit on his lap "what is wrong honey? Are you okay?"I rubbed my tummy as I was still feeling slight pain "is the baby okay?" he started to panic

"I dont k_know, I have been feeling pain since I woke up"

"lets go to the hospital right now" he shot up. "go and dress up, I will call my doctor to book an appointment right now"I nodded and left the room to freshen up.

Bryan was waiting at the car outside by the time I was done dressing. I wore a simple short flowered gown with white sandals matching it, my hair was tied to a bun with just a few loose strands. 

"You look so beautiful my love"he smiled at me . I could feel my face go red with blush, he really knows how to get me

"thank you babe"I said before entering the car.

The drive to the hospital was short. We walked into the doctors office. A young woman sat in there, smiling at us as we walked in..

"Mr Scott, welcome, please have your sits, I am Doctor Nora"

"Yes thank you, this is my wife.  she is pregnant but she has been feeling pains since this morning" Bryan said after we had taken our sits

"oh really? I will have to run some tests then, but first lets do an ultra sound" she stood up and motioned for us to follow her , while we entered the room next door, I layed down as she instructed, she lifted my top and pressed in a cold jelly stuff on my belly rubbing it and pointing to the computer screen "yes your wife is almost five weeks pregnant, and with what I can see she is carrying two healthy fetus,twins"

I almost choked on my spit "doctor do you mean my wife is going to have twins?" Bryan asked, looking as shocked as I am

"yes sir, Congratulations Mr Scott"

"Oh wow!" I exclaimed, I couldnt explain how I felt , am carrying two little babies for Bryan, my heart exploded with joy immediately , I felt the same joy flow through Bryan as he cupped my face and kissed my forehead.

"But its still looking too early to hear the heart beat or know the gender, will recommend you come back when you are at your seventh week"

"yes doctor" I replied

"and please, do not stress your self any longer, with what I can see here,you need a lot of rest. I will give you some medications to take for the next three days, you will be fine she said." She scribbled some things down on a card, and gave it to me that would be all, "you can take this to the pharmacy counter over there, they will give you the tablets"
