During break that new girl Carla came up to me and Frankie.
"Hey guys" she said
"Hey" Frankie said
I decided not to say anything, something inside told me she was up to something.
"Do you guys wanna come over to my house today after school" she said
I looked over at Frankie.
"Uh we're busy today, hopefully next time" Frankie said
I was kinda surprised he said that.
"Oh well, see you guys later" she said
"Why did you say that, I thought you were going to say yes" I said
"I could tell you didn't want to go plus I don't want you to get mad" he said
He kissed me but we got interrupted by a phone call. I realized it was my phone and it was an unknown number.

"They hung up" I said
"That's weird" Frankie said
He walked me home after school. When I got home my mom told me that we were going to Lynwood to pick up some stuff.
We walked in a store bc I was really hungry. While I was walking I heard two couples arguing and then it sounded like a slap, I looked over to see my dad and a women.
I was shocked, I was told my dad was dead how could this be.
"Dad!?" I screamed
He looked over and the women started crying.
"Your father lied to you he's not dead he just wanted you to feel sorry for him" she said
"You shut up, watch when we get home. Sweetie I can explain" he said
"No theirs nothing you can explain, look why do I care what you do with your life, you stopped being my dad a long time ago and my life has been better ever since. I just saw you haven't changed, you still have anger issues of course you were never going to change. You know what, don't ever call me again and pretend so I can feel bad just leave me and my family alone don't ever call us or try to get near us, now I can see I actually did good in letting you go" I said
I left the store and ran back to the car, my mom saw me crying.
"What's wrong Nay" she said
"I saw dad and his girlfriend or whatever" I said
"Oh you found out" she said
"Wait you already knew" I said
"Ok here's the truth, when me and your dad got married I found out he had another family, and yes it's that girl you saw, we tried to never talk about them but then this happened and he left with her and if you didn't know they're a happy family, you have two step sisters and they love their dad, I'm sorry you had to find out " she said
"What are you saying!? You guys been lying to us all our lives, how can you even live like this, and they're not my step sisters I'll never consider them my sisters and they don't look like a happy family to me, he slapped her" I said
"We did this to protect you guys, really wow well sucks for her."
"Sure whatever , just take me back home my days been ruined" I said holding back a load of tears.
