5 months later
"Mom I'm back" I yelled
"How was school" she asked
"It was okay" I sighed
Honestly I was getting used to this place and the school. I made a couple friends and I mean life isn't too bad after all. I met a guy the other day and it made me think of Frankie and I miss him. I changed my number since then and deleted all my social media accounts. I haven't heard from Frankie or my friends especially my best friend June who I didn't even say bye to her.
I have to admit I've recovered and all that sadness and anxiety I had is all gone, I feel happy....really happy. I'm glad we moved.
"We're going to LA on the weekend, I have to pick up some stuff I left when we moved" mom said
"Yesss" Maddie said
Maddie looked over at me, "aren't you excited nay? Maybe you'll be able to see Frankie"
I smiled, "I'm happy"
"It doesn't seem like it" she said
I shrugged

We arrived in LA and it felt nice to be here.
"Mom can I go to Randy's and get me and Maddie a donut" I asked
"Sure but be back by 5:00 because we leave at 6:00" she said
I grabbed Maddie by the hand and we ran over there.
When we got there I spot Becky, and I guess she saw me to.
"Nayyy" she screamed
"Aye" I said giving her a big hug
"Omgggg I can't believe it, I thought I'd never see you again" she said
"I thought so too, I'm just here to pick up some things I'm actually leaving later" I said
"Awh but how's life" she asked
"It's great, I'm happy I guess that what's more important" I said
"I'm glad to hear that, we miss you though!" She said
I smiled
"And you?" I asked
"Same actually, I'm going on tour tomorrow" she said
"Nice. How's Frankie" I asked
Her smile disappeared when I mentioned Frankie.
"Nay forgive me but I honestly think it'd be better if you guys just go your own ways and never hear from each other again" she said
"Becky I just want to know if he's ok" I said
"He's fine don't worry about him" she said
I nodded
"But I'm glad I got to see you again" she said changing the subject
"Same, I'm really happy for you Becky" I said in excitement
"Thanks! Where do you live now" she asked
"I live in shafter a town close to Bakersfield" I answered
"I'm actually going to be performing in Bakersfield on October" she said
"Yay I'll go for sure" I said
"Nice well see you then babe" she said
"Yeah bye B" I said giving her a last hug
"Hurry up I want my donut" Maddie said
Why did Becky say that? Why doesn't she want me to see him again? It hurt it really did.
We decided to stop at a gas station to get a soda.
That's when I saw Frankie with Alex in a razor scooter.
I just stood there and tried not to make eye contact but deep down I wanted him to see me.
And he did. The best part was the smile that appeared his face when he saw me. Again I pretended not to notice him.
He approached me.
"Nay" he said
I looked at him and it gave me butterflies.
"Hey" I said smiling
"Glad to see you again" he said with the brightest smile ever
I remembered what Becky told me.
"I have to go, it was nice seeing you" I said waving
"Hold up don't leave" he said grabbing my arm
"Frankie remember what mom said" Alex warned Frankie
I was starting to get uncomfortable. What happened after I left? ....
