Nayely's POV

I haven't seen Frankie since the last time we spoke and honestly I was doing just fine.

How did everything change so quick.

"Hurry up girls we're leaving" mom said

I took one last look in the mirror and grabbed my phone before heading out.

"Are you girls ready"

I nodded and waited for my sister to do the same.

"Do we really have to go to this party" Maddie asked

"Of course sweetie, it's important"

Basically my mom got a new job in LA and we got invited from her boss to go to this party.

From what I heard it was something to do with music records and stuff that probably only singers understand.

It didn't seem like the most exciting party ever but it should be fun.

If we decide not to go my mom will possibly loose her job and that can't happen.

We arrived at what seemed a studio.

There were people dancing to a very familiar song.

I swear I've heard this song but those were the only lyrics I got to listen to before they cut the music and started talking.

"Thank you to everyone for showing up, this is really important to us because we're teaming up with such a talented young lady that will not just help our company but our community as well, in a couple minutes we'll be introducing her to you guys"

"Mom what is actually happening" Maddie asked

"Well as you can see where I work I'm actually Dr. Luke's secretary and they pretty much are about to sign a new person"

She nodded but her expression said it all, she still didn't understand.

"Mom I'll be back I'm going to get a drink" I said

She nodded

I grabbed what looked like fruit punch.

As I was about to take a sip of fruit punch I heard my name.

I was about to turn around but they were about to start introducing the person.

I ignored it and went back to sit down.
