I was numb
"Nayely after everything I've seriously done for you an Maddie, you pay me with this"
"That's only because you deserve it, and technically the only thing you've gave us is problems to our lives all filled with hatred in our selfs. I cut myself because I feel worthless especially when you tell me I'm ugly and I don't deserve anything , when you say I'm dumb just because I couldn't do it, my grades are going down there's days when I'd rather be dead now tell me dad, are you proud of your precious child?"
"I'm not going to argue with you and if you don't want to know anything about me then that's fine, you'll never see me again but whenever you change your mind just note that I'll be here"
"No thanks. If I have to I'll find a job and take care of my family something you couldn't do"
With that he left my room and as soon as I saw him step out that door I saw him differently not in a good way, that man is no longer my father and I clearly saw him as a stranger, a stranger with some bad memories.
My mom came over to me and hugged me very tight, apparently Maddie was listening to our conversation all this time.
"Why'd you do that, it was dad who you were talking about"
She was now crying
"Maddie understand he never acted like a father to us"
"I saw him like our father and I love him"
"He is not our father anymore and tomorrow or even next week he'll forget about us trust me I know what I'm saying"
"Ok stop it girls I'll get a job and only us three will take care of each other from now on, it won't be easy but we will soon get over it"
I hugged mom except for Maddie she was still crying, she ran to her room before we could tell her anything.
"She'll get over it" mom said handing me a letter.
"What's this"
"Your dad wrote it for you this morning , it's your choice if you want to read it or not"
I decide not to I was still very angry at the fact that he thought he gave us everything but in reality didn't.
Later that day I got a text from Frankie.
Frankie: Hey ❤️
Me: What's up
Frankie: Just wanted know how you were doing
Me: I'm fine
Frankie: Can I call you?
I decided not to answer because I was having a really bad day and I didn't want to ruin his.
It was very late I couldn't sleep, I over think too much.
I decided to go on Instagram but everything on there was bs and it made me remember of my dad.
It was around 5:00 am when I heard footsteps and then the door opened I got really scared and covered myself with the blanket that's when I fell in a really deep sleep.
