Part 37

"Nay wake up" Maddie said
"Stop I need to sleep" I complained
"Come on wake up" she demanded
"Madison I said no, stop leave"
"Well you don't have to yell, I'll just go tell Frankie you don't want to see him" she said
"Wait, you never said he was here" I said getting up
She giggled
"Tell him I'll be there in a minute" I said
She laughed "more like an hour"
I got in the shower and didn't spend to much time, every minute that past felt like time wasted.
"Hey babe" Frankie said
I smiled and hugged him. I couldn't help but cry, he didn't say anything he just held me until I stopped crying.
I was to busy crying I didn't notice he was crying too.
"Where do you want to go eat" he said wiping his tears away
"Wherever is fine" I said
"Don't forget to be home by 3:00, we leave then" mom said
I nodded and faked a smile.
We decided to go to ihop because who doesn't love pancakes.
Nobody said a word while we were eating it was starting to get a bit awkward.
We finished eating what we ordered.
We got in the car and again no one spoke until I asked him where we were going.
"You'll see" he said
I smiled.
We got to the place which seemed like Santa Monica beach.
I knew exactly why he chose this place. When we were kids, this was our favorite place to play.
I laughed, "wow"
"You like it" Frankie said
"What are we even going to do here, but yeah I like it the view is great" I said
"Well I just thought that maybe we could spend our last hours where we pretty much spent our childhood together" he said
At last it was time to go back home. I could feel a knot on my throat and I wanted to cry so bad but I had to stay strong.
We got home and my mom was putting all our belongings in the truck.
"Well this is it" he said
A tear rolled down his face. I couldn't bear see him cry so I snapped and cried to.
He hugged me very tightly, I could feel his heart beating fast.
"Frankie thank you for making me the happiest girl, I'll forever keep you in my heart and I hope someday when we're slightly older well be able to see each other again" I said wiping my tears away
"But don't say that, we can still talk on the phone maybe keep a long distance relationship. I still need you to be mine" he said
I smiled, "thank you for being an amazing friend since kids, I love you Frankie and I wish you the best of luck in life"
I gave him another hug but this time he didn't hug me back.
"Don't....forget....me" he whispered crying his eyes out
I smiled, "never"
I got in the car and we drove. I couldn't believe I was leaving LA, my hometown my birthplace.
"Wow I can't believe you broke up with the love of your life" Maddie said
"Maddie stop, don't make things worse" mom said
"Okay I'll stop but at least you should be happy Carla won't bother you"
Carla! Noooo she's going to find a way to get back with Frankie now that I'm gone.
"Mom will we ever be back in LA" I asked
"Not in a long time sweetie, don't worry you'll make tons of friends over at your new school" she said
I sighed
We got to our new home and I hated the city, it was a small boring town. There was no malls nor big stores, the only restaurants here were McDonalds, Subway and Del Taco and most of them were Mexican restaurants. I mean I love Mexican restaurants but I love fast food more.
My mom decided to take me and my sister to check out our new schools. Her elementary school is pretty much next to the middle school she'll be going to next year so that was great for her and also it was really close to our house. The high school I'm going to sucks, it's far from my new house. I'm going to miss being in school with Frankie honestly.

"Mom can I go out" I asked
"Ok but don't get lost" she chuckled
I probably walked a mile and I was already sweating, this is nothing compared to LA weather. It's much cooler in LA, here it feels like 113 degrees. I decided to go back home because it felt like hell.
"Mom why is it so hot" I bragged
"Well that's just how it is here"
"Can we go to the beach or something" I asked
Mom laughed, "there's no beach here"
"Mom it's California" I stated
"We're far from the beach we're basically in the middle" she said
"How far is the nearest beach"
"2 hours possibly" she said
Seriously 2 hours?! I hate this place more already.
