Recovering Love

Part 3

I saw him leave and about a minute later Joey comes up to me.
"Dude I can't believe you still talk to Frankie after everything that went on in the past"
"Joey chill, plus I'm mad at you so leave me alone"
I was walking home , as I was walking I remembered Frankie was going to come pick me up so I hurried home.
My mom opened the door I was in tears when I saw her face. Her face was bleeding and right away I new it was dad.
" what the actual fuck is wrong with him, just look at you!"
"Mija it's alright, he won't do it again I deserved it"
Those were always her words when I asked her. My mom was deeply in love with dad but dad was one of those guys who doesn't care about mom. He sure cares about me. My dad wasn't like that , he was a kind man who would always care about me and my siblings but then one day out of no where he started hitting mom. I was about 8 and I had to take care of my younger siblings since I was the oldest. Growing up was really tough for me.
"Mom why do you let him do this to you why"
"It's none of your business go to your room"
I left but deep down I felt anger sadness, suddenly I felt weak like if I was drowning. I closed my room door shut and ran to my bed. Tears would automatically come out. I then looked under my bed and there they were. My best friends the only ones who never let me down my razors. I grabbed one and without thinking about it I slashed my skin then again and again.
I fell in a deep sleep and when I woke Frankie was next to me. He looked sad like if he was crying. I was confused, I didn't remember anything.
"Nayely why?
I saw tears on his face.
Frankie's POV:
As soon as I thought she was getting better she's not.
"Why do you do this to yourself" I didn't realize I was crying.
It made me so mad because I didn't see why someone so beautiful and perfect can hate themselves so bad.
"Don't you see how much you hurt all of us?"
"Answer me Nayely"
Nayely's POV:
I felt everything but nothing at the same time.
"Frankie I'm sorry, nobody really cares for me I'm often alone all the time"
"Nayely have faith that it will get better someone day don't do this"
"Don't you dare tell me it will get better because I've been through so many tomorrows and nothing has changed, I've waited for it to get better but it hasn't it gets worse everyday, I see myself disappearing everyday and the saddest part is nobody knows what's going on. Of course nobody will."
He hugged me for a long time and for a while I felt all my broken pieces getting back together.
