[ GIRLS LOVE CREAMPIES EXT.]
I went into the dining room and grabbed my phone. Like she was reading my mind, Ms. Tina was calling. I answered and took a seat at the table.
"I was just about to call you."
"You were thinking about little ole me?"
"I was."
"Why aren't you here?" She asked me.
I shrugged.
"That's not an answer."
"I'm not the one on tour."
"We were just out in New York and you weren't there either."
"I was in New York," I smiled.
She sucked her teeth, "At the show."
"No I wasn't there."
"You wanna be here?"
"I wasn't invited."
"You just wanna bicker. I'll send for you and see you tonight," She hung up before I could even reply.
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
BEYONCÉ KNOWLES
JUNE 23RDI hopped off of the stage and took the towel from Julius who had the widest smile plastered across his face. He looked proud of me, regardless of the fact that I had cancelled two shows prior.
"You did amazing Bey."
"Thank you Ju."
He handed off towels to Kelly and Michelle and my eyes immediately went searching for Onika. I had seen her in the crowd and I was hoping that my mama allowed her back here. I was sure she was the one that'd invited her in the first place.
As soon as my eyes caught her, I was making a beeline, leaving Kelly and Michelle in the dust. She saw me and followed suit.
I hadn't expected to see her, but I was so happy that she was here. I missed her. Even spending 48 more hours with her wasn't enough.
"I never know how much I love seeing you perform until I actually see you."
I stood directly in front of her, too close so that no one could interrupt the conversation I had with my best friend. I smiled at her before I grabbed her hand and guided her into my dressing room. I shut the door behind her, leaned her against it, and kissed her softly.
She ran her fingers through my hair as I grabbed her by the waist to pull her body closer. I dragged my hands around and sunk them into her back pockets before I pulled away.
"You missed me?"
I nodded, "You gave me the energy I needed to perform tonight."
She rolled her eyes, "Please. I see that look in your eye when you look at women. You can't fool your best friend."
"I'm looking at you right now and I feel like I could run a marathon."
She giggled while I kissed her until the door was opening and Kelly peeked her head in. She saw us, smirked and looked at me, then tapped the door. "You ready?"
