Ch 2

The next morning I wake up early and leave my sister a note before heading to the company making my way to the gym. It's the first time I've actually started working out because I want to get in shape. Looking around the gym I'm a little clueless as to where to start when I hear the door open I turning around curiously only to see Matt entering. He seems surprised to see me and gives me a curious look. "I haven't seen you here before." I immediately give a sheepish expression. "Yeah I decided I should start coming to the gym to get in shape." He nods and heads over to one of the machines I watching him before looking at the other machines cluelessly biting my lip before I speak up. "Um I'm sorry to bother you but do you mind helping me out? I have no idea what to even start doing." He looks at me before giving a small amused smile and walks over. "Alright let's start out with some simple exercises." I nod and copy him with each exercise he shows me. As the time passes Matt starts asking about my life and how I was discovered. "Well my sister and I just moved here a year ago due to personal reasons but we've always wanted to be performers. We auditioned here and I guess they liked us enough to have us debut." Matt nods as he motions for me to start doing some sit ups I reluctantly getting in position before starting. "You didn't seem to excited to be working with us when we met yesterday." I let out a puff of air before answering. "That's because I'm shy. Abby's the social butterfly between us and usually keeps things fun and not too awkward when we're with others." Matt lets out a little "oh" of understanding and I speak up sounding amused. "Also my sister tells me I tend to have a resting bitch face when I'm nervous so that's probably why I didn't seem that enthused." He lets out a little chuckle as I finish the last sit up he asked for. "Great now let's try some weight training." I groan slumping back against the floor dramatically. "You're trying to kill me." He looks down at me in amusement. "Come on now you got this. After this you can stop." I give him a pout but reluctantly get up and head over to the weightlifting bench carefully getting in position as Matt puts some weights on the ends. "I won't start you out heavy because I know you probably won't be able to lift very much." I give him a sarcastic "gee thanks" before putting my hands on the bar and carefully lift it struggling a little but manage to at least lift it four times with Matt's supervision. I quickly put the weight back on the holder and carefully move away from the weights before I collapse on the floor dramatically. "I'm officially dead." Matt laughs and says in amusement. "Come on now it wasn't that bad." I stare up at the ceiling saying in a playful serious voice. "I can't hear you I'm dead." He just laughs and I hear movement before I see Matt standing over me holding a bottle of water he holding it out to me. "Here drink this." I sit up smiling thankfully and immediately chug the water while Matt heads to finish working out I watching silently before setting the empty bottle aside. I see him start doing a lot more difficult workouts I unconsciously eyeing him before snapping myself out of it getting a strange feeling in my stomach. Shaking my head it's then that my stomach growls really loudly I immediately blushing and hold my stomach in embarrassment Matt stopping his workout to look at me. "Let me finish the rest of my work out and then we can both get something to eat. It should only take twenty minutes." I blink in surprise feeling a little shy and anxious. "Um okay. Go ahead and finish up." He nods and I watch him concentrate my eyes on his movements it's like I'm in a daze. Blinking when he finally stops I shake my head and get up stretching grimacing at my sweat soaked shirt. I look up when Matt walks over I speaking up hesitantly. "How are we supposed to get food when we're both a mess?" He smiles reassuringly at me. "We'll head to my apartment and order in." I give him a look of surprise before I give a little shy "okay." He smiles and goes to grab his things I doing so as well and then follow him out of the gym and outside to a truck. Blinking as he unlocks the doors I carefully open the door and climb up into the large truck immediately buckling up. Matt then starts driving I looking out the window there a comfortable silence between us. Soon we reach an apartment and I silently hop out of the truck with my bag then follow Matt inside. He gives me a little smile after we take our shoes off. "How does pizza sound?" I smile and nod. "That works. You can order it with anything. Just please not pineapple's." He gives me a little nod. "Trust me you won't have to worry about that. I hate pineapple on pizza." I immediately relax a little at that. "I've never tried it I just happen to be allergic to pineapple." He blinks at that. "Well that's good to know I'll keep that in mind. Now you can go freshen up in the bathroom and shower if you want while I order. Do you have any clean clothes?" I give a little nod. "Yeah I have some extra clothes to change into. Thank you." He gives me a reassuring smile and I follow him to the bathroom he showing me where the towels and everything are I thanking him again and close the door locking it then start the shower quickly undressing then hop in washing off as fast as possible. Once I'm finished I quickly hop out drying off and pull on my extra shirt and shorts. I then throw the towel in the hamper and put my sweaty clothes in my gym bag. Opening the door I step out of the bathroom and head to the living room Matt looking up and gives me a smile. "I'm going to go take a quick shower now the pizza will take thirty minutes to get here so I should be done by the time it gets here. Make yourself comfortable." I nod thanking him then take a seat on the couch pulling my phone out as he heads to the bathroom. I see a text from Abby asking where I'm at and I send her a message assuring her I'm fine and that I'm hanging out with Matt. She immediately sends a message demanding I tell her about it later I rolling my eyes at her dramatics knowing she'll want to gossip. Putting my phone aside I look up when I hear a door open and see Matt walking into the living room I almost choking on air when he's shirtless and quickly put on an indifferent face but can't help but eye him a little I getting that strange feeling again. Shaking my head I watch him grab a shirt pulling it on and I lean back against the couch looking away. The doorbell then rings and Matt goes to answer it coming back with a pretty big pizza he setting the box on the table and opens it. "Eat up." I grab a slice and start nibbling on it a little. "So you and your sister never mentioned what exactly your positions are." I blink and swallow a bite of pizza. "Well I sing and Abby raps and sings." He blinks in surprise. "I honestly expected you to rap." I shake my head. "Nope I can't rap for my life. That's Abby's specialty." He hums grabbing another slice of pizza. "That's interesting." I nod and finish my one slice of pizza before settling back against the couch Matt immediately giving me a confused look. "Aren't you going to eat anymore?" I immediately shake my head. "I'm good but thanks." He raises an eyebrow giving a slow nod before eating a few more slices before putting the box aside. We then start chatting about our favorite movies and hobbies until it starts to get late I checking my phone and frown slightly. "I better get back to my dorm Abby's probably going crazy wondering why I'm not home yet." Matt nods and starts getting up I standing up and stretch a little. Matt then looks at me with a smile. "Hey can I have your number? So we can keep in touch and maybe work out together again?" I blink but nod and give him my number he nodding then we head for the door I slipping my shoes on and get in the truck he driving me to mine and Abby's dorm.
