Ch 14

*a few weeks later*

Skipping down the hall of the entertainment company I head to Kard's practice room I quietly poking my head in and get Taehyung's and the girls attention motioning to Matt and put a finger to my lips to signal for them to be quiet. They nod and I quietly slip in the room and sneak up behind Matt who's digging through his bag for something I tip toeing up to him then I stand on my tip toes and cover his eyes he jumping in shock before pulling my hands away and turns around his eyes widening in surprise. "You're back from America already?" I smile and nod. Abby and I went home to America to take care of our mother's death by drug overdose. We had to sign some paperwork and get her crimes sorted out. "Yeah and I'm relieved to be home." I immediately pout adorably at him. "I missed you." He smiles softly and leans down pecking my lips. "I missed you too baby. Are you staying to watch?" I immediately shake my head no. "I gotta go home and unpack I just had to come see you first and get my kiss." He chuckles and leans down giving me a soft kiss we reluctantly pulling away and I turn to the others bowing politely before heading out of the room and towards the elevator only to look curious as I pass by him he looking angry, stressed and annoyed. Shrugging I head downstairs and go home.

(Matt's Pov)

Watching Declan leave I immediately hear amused chuckles and I turn my head to see my group members giving me amused grins I frowning. "What?" Taehyung speaks up smirking. "You're so smitten with him it's hilarious." I give him a look as the girls speak up cheerfully. "How long have you been dating now?" I immediately grimace at Somin's question. "Um I mean we've been seeing each other for two months but we haven't ever made our relationship official." They all look at me in disbelief and I say defensively. "I'm planning on confessing to him this weekend I even got him something special." I dig in my bag before pulling out a black box and open it revealing one of my favorite chains with a heart tag on the end with our names on the heart. The girls rush over and coo over it I closing the box and put it back in my bag. Just as I put the necklace away our manager bursts in not looking very happy. He seems to scan the room before his eyes and on me narrowing. "You come with me right now." I blink and frown but follow him out of the room and to the elevator where we go up to the floor with a bunch of different offices. Once we exit the elevator I'm lead to the CEO's office I immediately feeling confused and get a bad feeling. Once we get inside I'm told to take a seat I doing so. "I'm sorry but what's this about?" The manager and CEO both look at each other before the CEO types on the laptop before turning it so it's facing me and I immediately pale and feel anxious because there's a clear picture of me and Declan kissing. "Do you want to explain yourself?" I sigh at the manager and decide to just be honest. "We've been seeing each other for about two months now." They both stare at me before the CEO says firmly. "You're to break up with him now and we'll be working with the lawyers to keep that picture from getting out." I immediately frown at that. "I'm not going to break up with him. I love him more than anything and I want to keep him in my life." The manager gives me a stern look. "If you don't break up with him then his group will be disbanded and he'll be kicked out of the company." I stare at them in disbelief my heart hurting because I can't ruin Declan's dream and career. Slumping my shoulders in defeat I give a reluctant "fine." They nod in approval then dismiss me I silently heading for the elevator and leave the building going home I telling Taehyung and the girls I'm not feeling well as I enter the apartment and immediately go to my room laying back against the bed and stare up at the ceiling miserably before I slowly fall asleep.
