Ch 7

Waking up the next morning to my alarm I immediately groan and reluctantly get up turning my phone alarm off. Rubbing my eyes I sigh remembering that Matt's going to be here in about an hour I slowly climbing out of bed. I head to my closet choosing a simple t shirt and jeans before going to take a quick shower. Once I'm dressed and brush my light brown hair then brush my teeth I grab my phone and wallet then head out the door to wait for Matt outside. I only wait for about five minutes when he pulls up I silently getting in the truck and buckle up he giving me a smile. "Hey are you ready for today?" I give a little determined nod. "Yeah I'm ready." He smiles then starts driving I leaning back against the seat and look out the window silently. Once we arrive at the amusement park I feel a little nervous biting my lip. Matt seems to notice because he gently pats my shoulder. "You can do this. Just focus on having fun." I take a breath but nod and give a little thankful smile. He smiles back then we get out of the truck before we head to pay our entry fee. Once we get in the park I look around curiously at all the different rides and stuff I letting Matt lead me over to a simple ride to start out with. After the first ride is over with I'm then lead over to a rollercoaster I immediately biting my lip nervously. Matt leans down saying encouragingly. "You can do this. I'll be right here." I take a breath then nod and we get in line for the rollercoaster I a little reluctant that we'll be up front but I get in the seat and do the seatbelt and pull down the safety bar. After the worker makes sure all the safety equipment is secure he moves away and I grip onto the little handles tightly as the cart starts moving. Swallowing anxiously I let out a little whimper. "Matt I don't like this." I turn my head over to look at him and he gives me an encouraging smile before holding his hand out. "Here hold my hand and it'll be over before you know it." I bite my lip but take his hand and hold onto it as we keep climbing higher and higher until we reach the top I letting out a yelp when we start dropping gripping onto Matt's hand tightly until I slowly start to relax and start laughing a little at the twists and turns. Soon we stop and it's over with I immediately letting out a breath as we get up and head to the exit I bouncing a little grinning. "That was actually so cool!" Matt chuckles at me and we start walking through the park again. "See I told you that you could do it." I smile happily and nudge him. "Yeah yeah you were right." He grins down at me and then leads me to another rollercoaster we riding as much of them as possible I having a blast. Once it starts getting around lunchtime my stomach growls loudly I immediately holding it in embarrassment while Matt just chuckles and grabs my hand leading me to a little food stand. We grab something to eat we arguing when he insists on paying then go sit down at a table I immediately eating a little bit of the food happily. Once I eat about half of the food I force myself to push the rest aside. Matt seems to stare at me and I look at him confused with a raised eyebrow. "What?" He chuckles and motions to his mouth. "You have sauce on your mouth." I frown and try to get it making him chuckle again as he takes a napkin and gently wipes the sauce from the corner of my mouth I immediately feeling myself blush and get that feeling in my stomach again. "Um thanks." He smiles at me then motions to the rest of my food. "Are you sure you're finished?" I nod seeing a frown come to his face but he doesn't say anything instead we take up our trash and throw it away. We then start walking around again chatting happily about our lives making our way back to the front since we're done for today. We head back to the truck I carefully getting in and buckle up letting out a little happy sigh. "Thanks for today Matt I had a great time." He looks over at me smiling. "Good I'm glad." He then starts driving me back to my dorm I reluctantly getting out after wishing him goodbye and head inside where Abby's in the living room watching tv. "How was your date?" I immediately blush and give her a slight look. "It wasn't a date!" She looks at me with a raised eyebrow. "Sure it wasn't. Then why are you blushing?" I give her a little annoyed look before passing the living room heading to my room. I quickly get into some pajamas and climb into bed slowly falling asleep.
