We could live near the beach
Take for granted our ocean view
We may not revel in greatness
But it won't matter
Not to us two
We could walk along the shore
And hold each other close
We won't have much
But what more could we want?
There will be worries
Stormy winds will blow
Causing us to sway
But we'll always be there to remind each other
That we're going to be okay
One day we'll find that peace
We'll meet each other and laugh
What took you so long
To come across my path?
One day I'll find you
Once you're within my reach
But one day we'll find our place
And maybe, we could live near the beach
