we had landed in monaco last night and we hadn't had the energy to do anything so the first thing we did was get into bed and sleep.

I woke up the next morning around 11 o'clock and we were going to have dinner at Charles's family around 4 o'clock and I was more nervous than ever. when I turned around Charles was no longer there. I got up and put on Charles' shirt that I had borrowed from him on the way home yesterday. it was a little big but it was cozy and smelled like him.

i heard a rattle from some other room so i followed the sound and when i got to the kitchen he was trying to make breakfast.

"sorry did I wake you" he jumped when he saw me.

"hard to sleep when you're rattling" I laughed back and hugged him.

"I was going to make breakfast and then we can unpack your things before we go to my family"

"are you sure it's okay to eat then"

he gave me a sour look before nudging me lightly. after five minutes we went to the table and talked about everything we were looking forward to in the future. we were trying to agree on how to fit all our things.

"before we unpack all the things I want to do a house tour so you can find everything" said Charles and took our plates and put them in the dishwasher

we started with the hall showing all the drawers and closets and talking about all the jackets I could hang in them. we passed the kitchen and didn't stay long because I saw everything earlier then we went to the bathroom and explained that he could make room for my things. I laughed at him being so passionate about making room for all my stuff.

we got into his game room where he streams and has all the trophies. I walked closer to the shelf with everything and saw a helmet that caught my eye immediately. it was simple but with nice details and nice colors. I turned around and just hugged him.

"How can I have the world's nicest guy" I said to his chest. he stroked my hair and I heard and felt him laugh. we went on shortly afterwards to the bedroom and once again he started talking about making room in the wardrobe and how we should furnish the furniture so that both of us would be comfortable.

we took out the boxes with my clothes in them and decided to unpack my clothes together. he cleared out half his closet so I could have half the part. I opened the first box and tried to figure out which clothes would need to be cleaned.

"Oh, this is going to be fun," Charles said, smiling delightedly. "Let's see what you have here."

I laughed laughed and agreed as Charles started flipping through her clothes. They found items of clothing that reminded her of laughable fashion choices and moments of indecision.

"How about this one?" Charles held up a dress with ruffles and colors that screamed 80s.I laughed laughed out loud. "Oh no, it's been with me through thick and thin. But I think it's time to consign it to the past."

we continued to hang clothes and laughed when they came across old favorites and items of clothing with sentimental value. Each garment had a story, and now it was time to create new memories together.
