My family had always loved Formula 1 and they wanted my older brother to drive in F1 one day. I, on the other hand, knew nothing about it except that there were 20 cars driving in circles. My brother Simon started karting when he was 7 thanks to my dad and then worked his way up to f2. My father was very loving, the only flaw he had was that he was a winner.

I was born in Rome, Italy, but thanks to my dad we moved to London so Simon could take karting seriously so he could make his dad proud. I hated London. Hated the weather, hated the people here. Wanted to go to my hometown again but I didn't dare to go against my father as he had a hot temper. And my mother died in a car accident when I was 15.

My biggest dream was to become a model, my mother was my biggest supporter. But after she passed away, I put my dream aside as I knew that no one but her was cheering for me. My dad thought it was a ridiculous dream to have as my dad kept nagging me that that dream wouldn't make me famous. My brother was always happy for you, he didn't understand why I wanted to be a model. What they didn't know was that I had gotten some modeling jobs. No big ones but it was still a direction towards my dream.

My father had booked a family trip to Monaco before my brother was to sign a contract with an f1 team. As usual, I had no recourse as I had ended up in my brother's shadow. Dad spends almost every day to help Simon achieve his dream. However, I think it is my father's dream more than Simon's.

The flight was a disaster. I had luckily got the window seat but Simon and my dad were talking the whole time. "stop being grumpy now Frankie, we're doing this for your brother" my dad said when he noticed I was in a bad mood. I chose not to answer because all my life we have done things for my brother's sake. Love my brother but when will my family do something for me?

We took a taxi up to the hotel we were going to spend a week in. The taxi ride took about 10 minutes so that was fine. Had been completely exhausted after the difficult flight. when we stepped through the door, my dad immediately started complaining that it wasn't good enough. I, on the other hand, loved the place. It was big, nice view and I had the room furthest away. I went into my room and laid in bed to scroll through my social media.
