I was sitting at the cafe we had decided to be at. It was a sunny morning in Baku. I waited for the girls and checked my social media to pass the time. "sorry we're late, there was a lot of traffic" Kika said as Lily and Carmen sat down on the chairs. We ordered a coffee each and some pastry and started discussing the race weekend. "I think Simon will end up on the podium" I said and laughed. "Alex will make top 8" guessed Lily. We laughed and talked about our guesses until Kika interrupted. "I heard Charles came and talked to you the other day" I was surprised because I hadn't talked to any of the girls about it.
"Pierre tell me" she continued when I looked like a question mark. "well he came and apologized and wanted us to start over but then Max came and then Charles left" I told and I saw how the girls looked at each other. "Are you and Max serious" Carmen asked. "the only thing we've said is that we like each other but that we should take it slow and see where it leads"
"I think you and Charles are cuter together" Lily said and I saw Kika nod to Lily's opinion. I got a little uncomfortable and started to blush. "Do you still like Charles" Carmen asked. "my feelings don't disappear right away and then I'm with Max now" I answered a little too quickly as if to convince the girls that I was done with Charles but in fact it was probably myself I was trying to convince.
"I think you should give Charles a second chance" I sighed lightly at Kika's comment but knew she only meant well. "Can we talk about something else" I asked the girls and the others nodded. We started talking about which countries we wanted to travel to and it seemed like they had forgotten about the conversation we had before which was a relief to me. I saw that I had received a text message from Louise which I opened.
Louise:Hi, I hope you have some bikinis with you that you can take pictures with and post.
Francesca:I'll try to take some pictures today and post them later.
I put the phone away and asked the girls if they could help me take some pictures and they were very happy to help. "However, we have to finish before the qualifying starts" Kika said at the same time as we got up and went back to the hotel to get the bikinis.
We had a photoshoot at a nice view not far from the hotel. I was a little uncomfortable with the girls standing and checking because I was used to professionals taking the pictures, but those thoughts quickly disappeared. They took turns taking pictures in some kind of competition to see who took the best picture. When that competition didn't go well, they decided that one had to take the picture, the other told me how to pose while the other two cheered me up.
We finished after about 20 minutes so I put on a maxi dress so as not to walk around basically naked. "you should post it" Kika said and selected the pictures she took. There was a jocular argument before I decided to take the last picture and post it.
