I was in my bed watching netflix on my computer when I heard a ping from my cell phone. I opened and saw that charles had written in my instagram dm.

I put my phone away and felt my cheeks turn red. This was the first guy who seemed interested in me and not used me for my body. My dad wouldn't notice if I went out or not as he was busy with Simon as usual. I checked my suitcase to see if I had anything nice. I finally found an outfit that I put on. When I finished, there was 15 minutes left before Charles would arrive, so I took nice pictures that I finally chose to post on Instagram.

I heard a message on my cell phone so I picked up my cell phone to check.
"Arriving now so you can get out"
It was Charles who had written. I put on my white air force and was ready to go out when I heard my dad's voice behind me. "where are you going frankie" he said in a serious voice. "I'm going out to meet a friend" I said and I saw how my father didn't like that answer. "just don't come home too late" he said and gave me a kiss on the forehead. I went out and saw charles leaning against the hood.
"How beautiful you are Francesca" Charles said with a grin on his face. " thanks charles you can call me frankie" Charles was wearing black jeans with a black shirt. He went in for a hug and smelled his perfume. He gave me a hug that reminded me of safety.
"Where are we going" I asked as I looked out the window. "we're going to a bar" he said and I could hear him laughing. That laugh was like music to my ears. After 5 minutes in the car, we arrived. He opened my car door like a gentleman and I gave him a smile as a thank you. When we entered, many people came to greet him.
Charles introduced me to his friends and we went and sat down while his friends ordered drinks. We had slipped deep into a conversation so we didn't notice that two people had come up to us to say hello. "I don't think we've met before" the guys said almost at the same time "my name is Francesca" I said and held out my hand to say hello. "I'm Max and he's Lando"
"Do you live here" asked Lando already drunk. "No, you're on vacation with your family, you?" I asked back. "moved here a few months ago" he said, he had started slurring his words which made me laugh out loud. I went and ordered my first drink after that.
