This bitch has been groaning for the past 30 minutes.

''Reading is not gonna help you practice magic.'' I rolled my eyes. ''I beg to differ.''

Kiera groaned AGAIN.

''Isn't this a nice surprise.'' Noah fucking Night. He always comes at the wrong times.

Kiera scoffed. ''It suddenly smells in here.'' She smirked as she looked up to the Night brothers, and of course they had to come when I was with her.

''Joy, how do you know miss fairytale here?'' Kiera cleared her throat. ''I'm clearly much alive.'' ''Sadly.'' I try to hold my laugh in.

''But Joy?''

I look up behind me and raise my eyebrows. Of course I haven't told him that I knew Kiera, otherwise he would have killed me with questions.

''Oh I used to be friends with this girl called Nessa, she knows Kiera very well.'' I smiled innocently at him as he rolled his eyes.

''It's dangerous for you to walk around here.'' ''What're you gonna do? attack me while I'm putting away my books in my locker?'' I swear these two are acting like an old couple, it's like old and Noah 2.0.

''I might.''

''You might look stupid but you're not THAT stupid.''

I chuckle softly while Noah glares at me.

''Why do you guys bicker all the time?'' I finally said. ''Don't worry, she'll be dead soon.''

''I can't be killed. And you need my carrier and an other Furio family member.'' Kiera responded as she put the book down that she was reading.
"That's gonna take you another 10 years."

"Mike." I look behind Noah As Kiera mentioned him.

"Didn't Rafael do a wonderful job?"

One thing about hanging out with these nights and furio's and that they always bring up shit that I never heard of, including this Rafael person. But one thing in certain that Noah didn't like that name as he was glaring at kiera.

"Whatever, have any of you guys seen Olivia? The ball is tonight." Kiera chuckles. "The blond nerd?"

"Don't get on my nerves." He is head over heels for her.

"I'm pretty sure, she's uhm- taking a walk?" Noah looked at me as he furrows his eyebrows. Don't ask me to fucking lie if you know I am a bad liar.

"You dimwit, she literally just said she was going to a muggle village to find vintage books." What kind of a fucking Harry Potter world 2.0 is this, muggle? My god.

"I gotta meet Damien bout Darien." Kie said and stood up. Darien is Damien's twin brother, even tho I hear much about him I have never met him.

"New Lover?" Noah raises his eyebrow teasingly. Kie apparently didn't like that as her eyes started to glow.

"Woah woah. Kie." I hold her arm as she looked at me and started to calm down.

"What the hell was that?" Mikey said.
"Kie Kie losing control of her powers because of her emotions." Noah pouts at kiera.

Why can Noah never shut up?

"Does it matter? It's just Darien?"

''That's not the name that got her worked up sweetheart. It was lover.''

Every time these things happen I just pretend I'm not in the room. Because I don't know if ya'll noticed but they be talking bout shit that I don't understand, hell even Mikey understands it.

I look up. ''Are you okay Kie?'' And without a word she stood up and kicked the chair away. She gave one more glare at Noah before walking away.

And now she's mad, great.

Noah chuckles as I kick his leg. 

''Owh Joy what the fuck was that for?''

''Explain yourself.''

He clears his throat as he sits up. Sometimes Noah gets the annoyed kid out of me.

''It's not my story to tell.'' I rolled my eyes as he chuckles. ''The only thing you need to know is that I need her carrier and an other Furio member to get what I want.''

I narrow my eyes at him. Of course because Oli is my best friend I already know what needs to get what he- his dad wants. 

''You're a real self absorbed ass, you know that?'' He laughs.

''Guess that makes both of us.''

''Excuse me? What's that supposed to mean?''

He sits up and looks me right in the eyes.

''You never fucking notice how Olivia goes on these little trips once in a while, probably to get some alone time since all you do is talk bout yourself.''

I gasp. How fucking dare he? Everyone knows I care more bout Oli then I do myself and now he has the gal to say that I only talk bout myself?! Now I would curse the shit out if him but I am not going to because it's the future boyfriend of my best friend. Even tho I would love to beat the shit out of him now with his big ass ego.

He sticks out his tongue and walks away. ''PUT THAT DIRTY SHIT IN YOUR MOUTH, GOD KNOWS WHERE IT HAS BEEN.''

I am definitely gonna have a talk with Oli bout his ego.

I look at the seat he was sitting in and saw a note. Maybe he left it? I should take a look. Actually no I shouldn't that would make me a bad friend.....

Fuck that.

I opened the note, but there was a drawing inside. A gold ring with a green jewel on it. It reminded me of the ring I gave to Oli after I knew she was the lost fire princess.

No way I'm actually with the lost fire princess!'' I squeal as Oli chuckles.

I lean down to take her hand and smile.

''I wanna show my support, come on!'' She giggles as she takes my hand and I run with her to my desk. I open a drawer and take out a small gold ring with an emerald stone in it.

''I know it's not the most beautiful thing in the world but, it was my mom's wedding ring.''

She looks up at me in shock and shakes her head. ''Joy I can't take this.''

I smile at her. ''Olivia, eventually you're gonna look back at this moment. The moment you told me about Kiera and I don't want it to just be a memory. Now it's physical.''

I know I know, its cheeky but what can I say I'm a fan of poems.

''And why on my ring finger?''

''Well, eventually there's gonna be a guy who's gonna be so in love with you. He's gonna replace that crap little thing with a juicy fat diamond!'' Oli giggles.

''If my mom doesn't drag my ass back to her kingdom in a few weeks.'' She looks down and I can't help feeling sad.

''I'll kick her ass don't worry.''

She smiles.

''I won't take this off until then.'' I nod while I drag her for a hug as we both laugh.

I felt tears flowing over my cheeks. I quickly wipe them away with my hands as I keep looking at the drawing. 

''I love you Oli.'' I mumble under my breath.

I take the note and put it in my bag. I got lucky to have her as my best friend, I will love her with my entire heart and follow her thru hardships till I die.

That's a promise.
