TWENTY TWO

I have ordered three caramel macchiato's in the past hour. I have gotten no sleep last night busy studying.

I'm with Oli in the cafeteria right now asking her non stop questions about the spells I've been learning these passed few days, because she and Kiera promised me that they would help me get better and get my powers more under control.

I stopped talking when I noticed Oli's face have a deep expression.

''Any word from Noah?'' She looked up at me and shook her head.

''Ellie has been there though.'' Right, Ellie's was Noah's play toy before he got serious with Oli.

I heard she ruined Oli's English homework for no reason at all.

''I don't understand her problem, like it isn't your fault that Noah picked you over her.'' Oli chuckles a little.

''Hey- about that, what are you and Noah now exactly?'' She shrugs. How is it that nobody here knows how to label something. They have been doing everything that a couple does and yet they aren't one.

I took a sip of my iced coffee when I saw Noah creeping up behind Oli. He put his hands over her eyes and I giggled.

''Guess who.''

Oli smirked. She knew exactly who it was.

Noah removed his hands as he sits next to Oli, handing her something.

A bunch of carton flowers. How cute.

''You remind me of this flower- I spend a whole week making this so you better fucking appreciate it.''

Oli narrowed her eyes at him as he chuckles a bit.

''I'm sorry- please appreciate it."

It was so funny to see Noah this wiped for Oli.

I snorted as they both looked up at me. ''She got you that whipped huh Noah?'' He glared at me as I tried to hold my laugh. Because deep down he knows I'm right. ''Shut up before I cut your tongue out.''

I roll my eyes at his comment.

Oli chuckles at our bickering as Noah slowly looks at her. ''You told her hm?'' She looks up at him. ''Y-yeah, was I not supposed to?'' Noah is dumb if he thinks she won't tell me, we are best friends for a reason.

Noah shakes his head, smiling while kissing her on the cheek.

''Turn the flower around.'' Noah winks at me and that's my que to start filming them. I slowly pull out my phone at started recording the moment.

Oli turned the flower around and it said 'May I take you to the ball princess?' with a pink glitter marker.

I film Oli as she's smiling like an idiot at the note.

''is that a yes?''

She nods as Noah grabs her chin and kisses her. I probably should stop filming now.

I put my phone away and I see Oli kissing him back of course.

''Awhhh you're making me feel single.'' They both break the kiss and look at me like I am the idiot now.

''Bae, you have a boyfriend.'' I shrug. ''Talking about boyfriends I was supposed to meet him in the library like 10 minutes ago so I'll leave you two turtle doves alone yeah, bye bye!''

With that i grabbed my laptop and my last (hopefully) ice coffee and headed to the library.

I opened the big doors and walked in. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen this library, it still amazes me every time.

I look around and see a few students studying.

About 5 minutes of searching I see my boyfriend in the top right, also studying.

I smile to myself as I head over to his table.

"Hello handsome." He chuckles as I seat next to him, getting my books out.

"Hello gorgeous." He kisses my cheek. I smile at him and give one back.

"What are you studying?" "Potions, it's honestly riding up my ass how can anyone learn all these ingredients for fucking five potions?" I laugh at him.

"Well it's a good thing that your girlfriend always gets good grades, even for potions."

"Well I'm just lucky." He pats me on the head.

"What are you gonna study?" He asks. "Probably chemistry, I may get good grades but I keep blowing up shit." I pout.

"It's gonna be alright, say what I'll help you with chemistry and you help me with potions."

I smile at myself as I realize how lucky I am with a boyfriend like him. "Deal."

This makes me look back at the moment we met. I think right there and then I fell for him.

I walk thru the entrance of my new school. I still can't believe I managed to lie my way in, this school isn't that very smart.

I look around while walking as I'm trying to find my tour guide.

By all the amazement i bumped into someone making them drop all their books.

"Oh my god I am so sorry! Here let me help you!" I knielt down picking up his books.

It's just when I got back up that I noticed his face. And damn he was something else.

"Seeing the way you look around, you must be new am I right?." He started to speak to me. The first day and I already embarrassed myself.

"Y-yeah" I didn't dare to speak. I was still scared that I would be caught by lying.

"What's your name?" He asked. I couldn't figure out how he could be so....hot?

"Oh uhm I'm Joy, nice to meet you." I held out my hand. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Damien." He took my hand and kissed it like a gentleman.

"Which kingdom are you from?" The question caught me off guard.

Fuck fuck fuck. What was my last name again?!
It's not that I forgot, but my mom told me to fake a last name from a kingdom's royal family but I totally forgot which one.

"Oh sorry I should've introduced myself better, I'm Joy Celest from heaven." I quickly made that up on the spot.

"Aaa so you're from the heaven kingdom, got it."

The bell rang.

"Well I got to get to class. If you're looking for your tour guide, her name is Olivia and she is probably at the principal's office waiting for you. See you around Joy."

I waved at him.

He all of sudden stopped walking and turned around. He walked up to me and whispered in my ear.

"Your drop dead gorgeous by the way."

My cheeks went from my skin tone to a tomato red.

He winked at me and left.

I kept repeating it in my head. First day and I already got a crush.

This day is going better than expected.

"Joy?" He snapped his fingers.

"Huh what?"

"You were out of it for a second, what's wrong?"

I smiled.

"I love you Damien."

He smiled back at me.

"I love you too Joy."
