"So," Levi starts out, "I know you told me you don't want any presents but-"

I cut him off before he can continue, "No, you did not get me something."

"It's too late. I already bought it and I know you're going to love it," he smirks.

"Levi-"

"Princess, please just trust me this once. I promise you this is a gift for me as much as it is one for you," I tilt my head at this, confused on what it might be.

He pulls over by a a dock and I just glare at him and sigh. We get out of the car and he says, "Close your eyes so I can surprise you."

I close my eyes as he told me. He takes my hands and lightly pulls me forward. I walk slowly because the dock rocks back and forth with the waves. Finally he stops and commands me to open my eyes. I open them and gasp. I'm looking directly at a sailboat that is positioned a little bit away from the dock.

"That isn't it is it?" I say too shocked for that to be my present.

"That's it, princess. Look at it's name," I can see that he's enjoying himself with pleasing me.

I look over to see the name of the boat painted on the side, Eleavi. I smile, he named the sailboat after us.

"Levi, this is the best gift I've ever received," I wrap my arms around his neck and stand on my tippy-toes so I can give him a quick kiss.

"Now don't you want to go on it?" He asks me and I nod.

After helping me onto the sailboat, we stand at the front of the boat and sit next to each other.

"This is our sailboat, princess, forever and ever," he kisses my forehead lightly.

"Thank you so much," I sigh, "this truly is my best birthday."

"I hope so," he laughs, "I love you, Eleanor."

"I love you too," I kiss him on his cheek.

"Are you ready for school to start on Monday?" he asks me.

"Ugh, no. I don't want to go back. Especially with everything that happened last year," I sigh.

"I know, but maybe The Black Angel was just a lie Mr. Asmodeus used to scare us. I mean nothing has happened to us since," he mentions.

"It's too easy for it to be done," I lean into him and close my eyes, "I just don't want anything to happen to you."

"I don't want anything to happen to you," he holds me tightly, "and I won't let that aunt of yours control your curfew. If you want to stay the night you can stay the night."

"I think I will. Can we stay in the room on the sailboat?" I ask him.

"Of course we can, and I'll take you home in the morning."

"What should I tell my aunt?" I say whipping out my phone.

"Tell her you're staying the night with me," he laughs, "she can't do anything about it now."

I smile and text her that I was staying the night with Levi. Right away she replies with an angry no, but I just power down my phone and put it away. It's my birthday and I want to spend it with my favorite person.
