We got Ember safely back to her house. Her mother and father were very confused about what happened to her, and her father has said something about shouldn't have moved to this town. After that I drove Isaiah back to his house.

"Wanna come in, Hale?" he invited me.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt," I smile and turn off the jeep, and walk inside his house.

It's the same for the most part. They did a good job rebuilding after Avery exploded the house, that bitch. I sit on Isaiah's bed and close my eyes for a bit. I feel the mattress deepen beside me. I open my eyes and I'm staring right at Isaiah.

"You look beautiful in the moonlight," he whispers and combs a piece of hair behind my ear, and I smile.

"Do you still love me?" I ask in return.

"Of course I do. I don't think I can stop loving you."

"But what about Ember?" I sigh, "I don't want her to get hurt."

"I don't want her hurt either, but I don't want to fake it with her. She doesn't deserve that," he rubs my arm up and down, slowly. I don't say anything back, but just continue to stare into his blue eyes, and I can't help myself but smile. He leans closer to me but doesn't kiss my lips. He begins kissing my neck, but soon I feel a sharp pain in my neck. I felt like screaming, but it wasn't painful like that, it was almost enjoyable pain. After 10 seconds, it was gone. I felt my neck, two holes.

"Isaiah-"

"That's how vampires mark the ones they love, by a vampire bite. And if it stays that means you love me back," he traces his finger around the two holes now placed in my neck and I shiver, "and when it disappears I'll know you don't love me anymore."

I reach my finger up and grab his. Then, I touched where he bit me. Two holes, still there. I smile to myself, "earlier you said Levi would be stupid to break up with me. Do you really think so? Even after what I did?"

"Eleanor Halewood, the beautiful, rare, Saraph Angel. Who is a very sweet and loving woman, and also very independent and strong. If he breaks up with you then he's blind," Isaiah cups his hands around my face.

"If he doesn't break up with me, let's say, I now have a mark placed on my neck that proves I'm in love with Isaiah Myhre, so what should I do then?" I ask in a hushed tone.

"Follow your heart," he leans closer to me, almost about to kiss me, "just know that I love you, but also know he loves you too."

My breathing races, "I guess we'll know when the time comes. I'm scared," I admit to him, "if he breaks up with me- what if he hurts me."

"Fear not, Eleanor, darling. For I am with you," Isaiah leans in a kisses me on the lips. Fear not, for I am with you, echoes in my head, fear not.
