Rude awakening

although the creatures evolution process had been completed it had decided to go into hibernation as their was not much food left after the diamond attack, along with the fact that group of gems was out there

timeskip years later

???: woah, this place is so cool! 

???: steven! please be careful stay by me and garnet

the gems and steven had recently discovered the place the thing  was hibernating in his evolve amber

steven: so garnet, what do you think this place is? 

steven asked practically bouncing in excitement 

the place itself was nothing special a crash spaceship much like the one peridot would later use to trap the gems though this one was different as it had a strange hole in the floor

Garnet was silent seemingly in thought 

Steven: are you okay garnet?

steven asked worried, this seemingly snapped garnet out of her trance as she ruffled stevens hair but pearl still looked worried

???: yo G-squad you good, never seen you act like that before 

Garnet: yes amethyst, its just something is blocking my future vision 

the gem now known as amethyst spoke up in a surprised tone 

Amethyst: that can happen?

even steven was surprised

Pearl: well it has happened before, but that "thing" is long gone, garnet made sure of that

garnet pushes up her visor with a mhm

Amethyst was about to speak up when the group noticed steven had wandered off and fallen into the hole

all the gems look into the hole with worry

Pearl: Don't worry steven we're coming!

Amethyst: Yeah, are you hurt?

Steven: no, I'm fine but I think there is something down here!

Garnet: its best if you don't move!

steven ignoring this of course because he noticed the large orange glowing substance stuck to the wall not to far away as he walks up to it and try's his best to look inside the gems come down

Pearl quickly rushes up to steven and hugs him

Pearl: Steven are you okay?!, are you hurt?!

Steven: I'm fine!, but what's this stuff 

steven went to go touch it but garnet feeling a familiar yet slightly different presence emanating from the glowing amber quickly grab everyone and jumped back

Amethyst and Steven simply stared in confusion while pearl knew something was up but before she could ask the group sees a set of red eyes staring at them from within the amber before a black claw quickly burst fourth 

the thing roughly comes out, not wanting to wake up for a couple more years, collapses to its knees before standing up and staring down at them with noticeable confusion and surprise

of course all of the crystal gems stare in shock even garnet, and pearl because they didn't even expect to see you alive none the less with the new form, you spoke in a monstrous yet understandable voice

"Why are you here?"
