We open to our favorite monster laying down like a dog while peridot moves broken pieces of warp to a pile as she begins to grumble to herself
Peridot: Stupid broken warp... First the communication hub, ugh... now this is busted again...
she forms her finger screen
Peridot: these crystal gems are a menace
she speaks with distain
you were bored and hungry so you wrap your long tongue around one of the broken warp pieces of begin chewing on it
Peridot: Hey! get that out of your mouth!
you throw it away, before anything else can be said one of the warp pad activates and steven and the gems arrive, startling peridot
you just look over bored, as the pearl celebrates
Pearl: Oh, aha!
she points at peridot
Pearl: Look, I was right! My plan worked perfectly!
Steven waves and says Good morning'
Peridot: What?! How did you know I was here?
Steven: We found a secret way to track you, and we'll never tell you how, even if you ask nicely.
Steven taunts Peridot by sticking out his tongue and pulling his eyelid, very odd behavior
the garnet attempts to speak but is interrupted by the pearl as she points at peridot
Garnet: Peridot we're here t-
Pearl: And you'll never get away with this
must be excited
Peridot: Don't you gems have anything else better to do than to annoy me!?
you fantasies about sleeping with that time
the amethyst also attempts to let out a remark but is also interrupted by Pearl
amethyst: Nope, we're gonna-
Pearl: Prepare to be annoyed!
Peridot lets out a groan
Peridot: I don't have time for this!
she fires a ball of energy with her fingers and shooting it at the crystal gems unfortunately the force sends her back causing the ball of energy to hit a pillar that begins falling on the gems
you catch peridot before she fully falls over
Peridot: Thanks, this planet has a expiration date and I'm not going to stick around to find out when!
Pearl: wha-?!
steven summons a pink shield and protects his group of gems from the falling debris
huh? so he's not human, a shield too?
Pearl glares at peridot, who in response looks at her blaster before chuckling
Pearl: that's it!, I'm taking her out!
Pearl charges at peridot
Garnet: pearl, wait!
garnet tries to warn her but peridot fires a tractor beam at pearl, immobilizing her entirely
Peridot: hah! sorry but your going the wrong way!
Peridot shouts before peridot swings pearl around and throws her at steven causing his shield to break, garnet holds up the falling debris with her gauntlets
Garnet to amethyst: get her!
Amethyst charges at Peridot, using a spin dash attack huh, reminds me of a blue hedgehog for some reason... eh probably not important
Peridot jumps and dodges out of the way, causing Amethyst to crash into the pile of rubble that Peridot was moving earlier. Amethyst pops out of the pile and shakes off the dust, growling. Peridot tauntingly scuttles away on her fingers
which you can't help but snort at
peridot mocks amethyst
Peridot: Hahahahaha you missed!
meanwhile pearl is still on top of steven
steven: Pearl!
Pearl: huh?
Steven nudges Pearl off of him and chases after Peridot. Peridot scuttles onto one of the warp pads, only to find that it does not work.
Peridot: AGH! doesn't anything work on this cruddy planet!?
Steven: I do!
Steven tosses his shield like a frisbee, the shield comes very close to hitting peridot but you finally get up making yourself known as you step on the shield shattering it while letting out a yawn
the crystal gems are shook somehow not noticing you lying down
Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst: Y/N?!
y/n: yep
Garnet: Amethyst, catch!
garnet hurls the broken pillar in the air as amethyst whip wraps around it
amethyst: DESTROY
peridot hides under you in fear
the pillar smashes into your skull, you seem annoyed nothing much though
amethyst: huh?!
in response to the attack you let out a breathe of fire at the gems it separating you and peridot from them with a wall of flames
garnet quickly bolts through the flames being immune as you and peridot find yourself on a warp pad
the wall of flames dispels as peridot remarks
Peridot: Wow, this is just sad, I almost feel sorry for you
you snort steam out of your nostrils before you and peridot warp away
--------------
when the gems got home they all look noticeable distraught
Pearl: Okay, I realize that was a bit of a fiasco. But there's a silver lining to this!
pearl walks off the warp pad to Peridot's escape pod, wired to the warp pad
Pearl: Now we know for sure that we can track her every movement! Whenever she uses the warp system, her escape pod will instantly detect exactly where she is. It's only a matter of time until we catch her, and when we do, we'll be able to close this chapter and finally move on!
Pearl turns to Garnet*
Pearl: Right?
Garnet remains silent until speaking up
Garnet: why was y/n with her?
she asks clearly confused evidently not seeing a future with him in it
steven: It was so cool! he breathed fire like a dragon!
the escape pod goes off alerting the gems of peridots next location

30 minutes earlier
cut to you laying down as you try and rest as peridot tinkers with this new ship while going over the events of what just happened
peridot: that was crazy right! I was like throwing them around meanwhile you just took a massive pillar to the back of the head likes it nothing and you breathed fire! since when could you do that?!
y/n was snoring already asleep as peridot continued working now with a look of comfort on her face having y/n on her side

alright so I was only going to do five chapters but seeing as friend ship is already nearly over nine hundred words I'll just spilt friend ship into two parts and continue from there
