You woke up with a yawn, again much like a dog to peridots amusement

Peridot: I would say lets move out immediately but seeing as your a creature of earth I assume you need food and water so I will give you a couple minutes to hunt and drink

as you walk away peridot talks to herself

peridot: heh? a beast of this caliber saying please and thank you to a peridot, what would they say back on home world, though I must be careful how I word the y/n into the cry for help as this could result in som-

to peridots surprise you come back rather quickly

peridot: huh that was quick 

y/n: yeah I'm like a apex predator on this planet 

peridot: hm... noted 

you and peridot make your way to a warp pad but strangely enough it doesn't work

peridot: huh? strange, oh well I guess we will have to go on foot 

peridot begins walking but y/n hoist her up on his back and begins bolting to the communication hub on all fours or sixes in this case because you have four arms and two legs which causes a laugh to come out of her as she has never ridden something so fast before like this 

after the ride you arrive in front of the communication hub but it is wrecked and the warp pad had a massive boulder on top of it that has appeared to have broken it

Y/n: what happened here?

Peridot: I bet it was those crystal clods 

Y/n: they must have fused with each other to due this much damage 

Peridot: ew, fusion between two different types of gems

Y/n: is that not acceptable on home world?

Peridot: no it isn- wait a minute, how do you know about fusion?

Y/n: oh I broke into where they live and asked the weakest one 

Peridot: you know where they live? how?

y/n: oh when they found me I tracked them back to there house using my enhanced sense of smell

peridot thinks of a dog again and lets out a chuckle

y/n: what is it?

peridot: its j-just you remind me of a dog so much, you sleep like one, you yawn like one, you can smell things like one 

peridot let out a snarky laugh

y/n: whatever you say

peridot: anyways lets get to work fixing what those crystal clods broke

peridot goes to attempt to pick up a rather large pillar only to struggle with it 

you of course go over and easily pick it up

y/n: if you need help just ask 

you set the pillar up while peridot looks away embarrassed

you two had just finished fixing the communication hub and peridot was currently recording the message while you were laying down 

Peridot: This is Peridot transmitting on all frequencies from abandoned crystal system colony planet earth, to Yellow Diamond. My mission has been compromised, my escort and informant are gone and I am now stranded! I have been able to "tame" some sort of earth super predator that could prove use to the diamond authority, Please send help!

you wonder who this yellow diamond could be before squinting your eyes at the use of the word tame 

Peridot: Now we wait

Y/n: we probably shouldn't wait here, bet those crystal people will soon show up to investigate the "noise"

Peridot: excellent thinking 'for a animal of your caliber', alright lets go 

peridot climbs on top of your back almost looking excited for the ride back?

you quickly return back to the area you two set up camp and wait
