the crystal gems were in shock not only did this thing just talk but it looks different (to the ones who know it) steven, being the oblivious bundle of joy that he is, shakes away his fear and approaches with a smile

Steven: hi! I'm steven, we're looking for a gem called peridot, do you happen to know where she is?

you: "what is a peridot?"

steven: uh its like a gem like us but green and there hair looks like a triangle and the have a upside triangle on there forehead 

you: "can't say I have"

steven: that's fine! 

the gems "quickly" getting over there silent freak-out session and with no idea what this thing is capable of quickly grab steven and jump out of the hole before proceeding to run to the nearest warp pad and warp away much to stevens dismay as he wanted to make a new friend

meanwhile with you

you hoist yourself up out of the hole and stretch, it had been a while since you last woke up, you had no fur so you mainly hibernated during the winters, so it was a welcoming feeling when you stepped outside and felt the warm summer air on your void colored skin  

you quickly began hunting and found a bear which you promptly tore open and ate

y/n: now, what to do, could see where those gems went

you quickly picked up the scent of your gem visitors and followed the scent to this weird pad 

y/n: this is something related to gems probably, oh well I've eaten gem shards before, I should be fine 

you step onto the warp pad 

but then you realize you have literally no where to go 

y/n: could go to a place full of humans, nah too much drama for one day, a place with no one?, maybe later, for now I'll wait for those crystal people to come back, because they definitely will

I position myself in the canopy overlooking the warp pad

you thought to yourself 'I remember two of them back when I was far less intelligent and more primal, I of course got my ass kicked because I wasn't adapted to this foreign enemies strength though thankfully I have grown and changed overtime due to these corrupted crystal people eating my food source I believe I can fight them now, though do I want to? and there were two more, one of them felt familiar the small fleshy one but the only other one I can remember with them was the tall pink one, eh its probably just my imagination and then there's the small purple one seems much more laid back compared to the other two'

Steven: awe you guys I was just getting to know him! 

steven wined

amethyst: yeah, he seem pretty chill despite us waking him up  

amethyst commented while plopping down on the couch

Pearl: you two wouldn't understand, but garnet how is that thing alive!

Garnet: I don't know 

garnet said with a bead of sweat coming down the side of her face which was very out of character for her 

Pearl: its fine, you already beat this thing once garnet and with amethyst now here it should be no problem 

Garnet: your right, lets go bubble it
