Chapter 7- Sparkles and champagne

Slowly, your eyelids flit open and you don't recognise your room's soft walls or the poster area or the stack of books you were reading on your bedside. You see dark green, gold accents. 

You were in Loki's room. 

The memory of the kiss played through your mind once more, cheeks heating up at the memory. That's when you heard footsteps in the hall and Nat's voice ring out 

"Y/n? Y/n? Bitch where are you? It's eleven am! You better not be sleeping!" 

A distant shout of "Language!" meets your ears as well. You sat up in the bed and look at Loki's sleeping body next to you. 

"You're staring darling." he whispers, pulling you closer. 

"Loki, as much as I enjoy our dallying, I must get going. I have things to do today." 

Part of you begs you to stay by his side, in his strong arms, basking in his scent. But the responsible side of you as usual, wins out. 

"Ah yes, my brother told me. Midgardian festivities. How quaint." 

"Loki..."

"You may go darling." 

You slid off the bed and as you placed your hand on the door handle, you feel Loki nuzzling his head in your neck. 

"You might want to hide those darling. Although, I daresay, they look gorgeous on you." he grins suggestively as you looked in the mirror and gasped at the sight. Your neck and collarbone must have twenty bruises all over. Loki seemed proud of himself and you roll your eyes teasingly at him. You playfully smacked him and tiptoed down the hallway to your room. 

You shut the doors behind you, sighing in relief as you slid down to sit on the floor. 

"Y/N! I'm warning you, I'm going to break this door down!" 

Oh shit! Nat must have come back. And you knew she was more than capable of bursting this door through and through.

"Hey! Calm doooown! I'm alive!" You shout back at her through the doors

"Good, you had me worried because you still owe me fiteen bucks!" 

"Gee thanks Nat!" 

"Love you too. By the way, you and Bucky will be leaving in fifteen minutes." 

Her footsteps became more and more silent. You rushed towards your closet and picked out your favorite outfit before rushing into the shower and doing your routine as if you were running your marathon.

Twenty minutes later, you were sitting in the passenger seat with Bucky in the Stark Tower garage, getting ready to leave. 

"Security protocol." announced JARVIS.

"Bucky Barnes with Y/n y/l/n. Avengers, level 7 security clearance. Shopping." 

"Biometric analysis complete. Enjoy girlieeeees! Go have fun babes!" 

"God I NEED to have a word with Stark and his sassy AI sooner or later!" Bucky chuckles as he turns he steering wheel and slowly leaves the Stark garage. Tony's work was exactly like him. 

You drove for about twenty minutes, all the while laughing your heads off or doing an off-key kareoke to every song that went by on the radio wether you knew it or not. Bucky finally pulled in to the mall's parking lot and after parking perfectly -you didn't know how he did it, must be the metal arm- you both hopped out.
