author's note: i came up with this from a old oneshot that deals with two different people back in 2021. i wanted to revamp since i got more insight on omegaverse. btw, just a taste (part 4) wedding scene might come out this month or next, depending on how i feel.

"fanum?" kai knocked on the door to soft cries on the other side. he frowned at the sounds, turning around to duke frowning also.
they guess the news he got isn't good.
fanum even expressed that he was nervous to hear what ranking he would get. as a child, his mother shy him away from being ranked as his mother was traded off for a billionaire before escaping. she knew if she gave up him blood and name, they were going to find him.
when the dominican found out, he couldn't help to be mad and sad for her. all she was doing to protect and save them from the evil family. but he wanted to know early than before as he saw all his friends knew.
he seen the side effects of kai being an omega—crying and always in harsh heat. kai got marked but not marked sexually, which make him lean on anybody that's stronger than him.
on the other hand, he saw people like alphas and betas taking over and have a sight advantage on omegas, due to the fact they have less benefits.
"fanum? i'm coming in..." kai swallowed the rest of his saliva, preparing himself to see the unexpected.
he slowly opened the door, gasping the second he saw something and quickly open the door to the whole room trashed.
"oh my god..." he gasped again, he seen paint on the floor and walls, the christmas tree thrown on the floor with the puddle of paint—christmas ornaments all over the room.
he seen paintings and gifts from his supporters trashed also, them being ripped off the wall in the midst of this.
"damn..." duke stepped in also, stepping over a pair of shoes that almost tripped him.
"fanum?" kai sat on the edge of the bed, hearing fanum stopped crying and flip the cover back.
kai whimpered at the chubby boy, seeing his eyes shot red with tears and snot coming down. he looked so mad, scared and nervous all at the same time.
"oh fanum..." he whispered.
"kai i'm an o-omega..." he nervously said before bursting back in tears.
he tried to cover his face to no avail—kai stopping him to give him a hug. that's what he probably needs right now. he looks so scared about the news.
he knows they can get disrespected and slut shamed in this life they live. all because they are considered as bottom ranked.
"shhh..." kai rocked them back and forth, peeking over to duke trying to recover some stuff that is not damaged.
"you don't need to do that," kai signaled to the man who stopped.
"it's fine. he's going to sleep like this if this don't get cleaned up." duke nods his head before picking up and throwing out a ripped painting.
kai moved his eyes back to fanum who was gripping up on his jacket.
it been two days that he found out. he got himself together after kai forced him to get up. kai told him he needed to grip on the reality and doesn't want to see him depressed. life had to go on.
