learning that his mother found a someone that can marry him and send him off, he didn't take the news well.
he cried his eyes out for that week, especially hearing he's getting married in two weeks. he's knows that he's 18 and he can do things for himself, it's a downside to that also. some things he needs second signing on.
"mom these shoes doesn't fit me either-"
"kai you should've said something before, you got the lady running around to get you a bigger size!" his mother exclaimed, quite annoyed that her second youngest son doesn't speak up enough.
"i literally just put these on ma...they don't fit." he said in a direct tone.
his mother rolled her eyes, "miss can you give him a 44 please?"
"sure." the dior receptionist smiled, taking the black shoes back.
kai looked away at the interaction, standing up in the mirror to get a whole body look.
the wedding suit was tightly but rightfully worn on him, his hair unraveled as it was due for a retwist. his short stance being very visible, looking in his face be very drained by the news he heard.
his mother walked closer in the mirror, touching her second youngest shoulders with a smile. rubbing on his shoulders, she let out a content sigh.
"kai, cheer up. you're doing a good thing for the family. you're getting us out this two bedroom apartment."
"yeah but it's not benefiting me." kai admitted. he feels so trapped and helpless.
"yes it is! stop saying that!" his mother rolled his eyes, feeling that he's being ungrateful.
"what about my dream??"
"what about your dream?"
kai opened his mouth but nothing came out. he nodded his head, keeping the thoughts that he wanted to say to himself.
the dior receptionist came back in smiling, "size 44, black shoes."
kai sat his wedding table looking at everyone celebrating and being happy for the day. they being happy for your wedding day. on the other hand, it was literal hell for kai. he swirled his apple juice in the champagne glass around, sighing as he felt time going slow for them to leave.
he didn't know how to feel, he felt very numb.
he came out his thoughts when someone sat next to him, that someone being his husband. he let a small groan out, clearly out of breath coming off the dance floor.
kai shyly took a peek at the man, first thing laying eyes on his diamond grills that he showed in front of everyone. the man had a strong face, having a face that can land him a modeling contract.
"you okay?" the older man spoke up, being the first conversation they had ever.
"i-i'm fine..." kai quickly looked away, eyeing down the dance floor again as they brought a....stripper out?
what the hell?
duke opened his mouth to say something to keep the conversation going, but before he do that, the mother who agreed to the arrangement came over to the table. she wore a lovely white dress, small sandal wedges that made her height a little taller.
