Aster didn't know what was happening to him. Ever since he'd turned ten a weird thing had been happening to him.
Every time he was scared, stressed or angry he'd start glowing and eventually turn into a shower of stars.
It wasn't the easiest thing to hide from his mum, or anyone for that matter.

He looked at his mum sitting next to him on the plane.
They'd been moving around so much recently.
And the worst part is, they were going to Uncle Elliot's house.
Not that he had anything against Uncle Elliot, it was his daughter, Vesper.

They both HATED eachother to the core.
Everytime they came to stay she'd either fill his pillow with spiders or blame every little thing on him. He felt his hands start to glow, he stuffed them in his pockets.

"Do we have to go?" He pleaded.

"Yes, Aster, it's for grandads funeral. And it's only for a month." Mum said. "It's not like it's forever."

"You said that about Argentina. We were there for three months." He muttered.

"Don't be sassy."

Aster pushed his hands further into his pocket.
He was terrified. He never liked going to Uncle Elliot's but now this was happening, it was a million times worse.

After looked into his pockets, his wrists were completely gone.
He pulled up his selves.
His arms were gone.

Panic. He wouldn't change here? What if everyone saw? He'd probably get thrown off the plane if they knew what he was.

"I'm going to the toilet." He said as he stands up.

"Alright darling, be quick though, we're landing in a minute." Mum said, not looking up from her phone.

Aster practically runs the the toilet before locking himself in.
He puts his arms around himself, hugging himself.

Of all the places this could happen? Why here?

He shuts his eyes and takes afew deep breaths.
That usually helped.

In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
In-

"Aster?" His mum said. "Aster are you okay?"

Aster jumped.
He looked at his hands that had solidified.
"Yeah I'm fine."
He unlocked the door and opened it with a smile.

His mum smiled.
"Good. Now come on darling, the planes about to land now."

Aster sighed as he followed his mum back to there seats.
Disaster avoided successfully.
